Grout Finish Kit is a water-based penetrating grout stain and sealer that is designed to revitalize and restore desired color to your grout. Grout Finish seals to form a protective barrier against organic food stains, grease, soil, and other forms of foreign deposit. Kit contains applicator wheel, applicator brush for hard to reach areas and sponge. Covers approximately 50 to 300 sq ft (4.5-28 sq m) per 236ml bottle depending on width of grout joint and size of tile. Example: 12" X 12" tile with ¼" grout joint will cover approximately 125 sq ft (12 sq m) per 236 ml bottle. Surface preparation is key to a successful application. Previously applied sealers must be removed using a sealer remover. Excess dirt and grease should be removed from grout surface (dishwasher detergent in warm water works great).

Excellent Product
I used this to make uniform the grout of a new tile floor extension of an old floor. Thus, my application was making new grout and aged grout look the same. It worked beautifully. It is easy to apply and the grout is much easier to clean with the finish. I highly recommend it. Additionally, my grout and tile are of a similar color. Thus, it is difficult to see application mistakes. I am not sure if it would work as well if you are dramatically changing grout color or if the grout and tile are a markedly different color.

This product worked really well. It covers the dirty grout. I did find it's easier to use just the brush alone rather than the roller. I pour the paint in a small container and brush away and it looks like new! I highly recommend it.

Long lasting - over 4 years now!
I used this product to change my dark brown sanded grout to white! Granted, it took four coats to cover, because the grout was so porous, but it's held up to hard water and daily usage in the shower for over 4 years and looks so much better than brown grout which always looked dirty. One or two minor touch-ups, but the product seals well and is still usable 4-years later - just close it tightly! Used in another bath to change same dark brown grout to almond - only took two coats (almond seems to be more opaque than white). Used in my kitchen on grout between rough-edged irregular tiles. Grout was very near the tan color of the grout sealer, so not so dramatic a change - one coat. A little more challenging to apply on the broken edge tile, but looks wonderful and all the "gunk" doesn't absorb into my grout now - I was fanatic about germy grout, but don't worry about that anymore - a quick wipe up and clean grout!. Several places around the stove where oil had spilled have been a challenge to keep sealed, since the new sealer can't penetrate the olive oil (or whatever), but again a couple of touchups here and there. I'm SERIOSLY considering doing my floor tiles (whole house), but I have to talk myself into doing all that work. I know it would be beautiful,though, and so much easier to clean!!!! Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Great stuff
My grout was so dirty it looked black. I used the tan ,put two coats on and it looks great!
