Would have been nice to have some angle numbers as a reference
Would have been nice to have some angle numbers as a reference, but it does get the job done and at a pretty reasonable price too. Have had the gauges installed on the boat now for about 4 months. I have 2 of these mounted on the boat (inside steering and on flybridge) and they are lifesavers! I was used to looking at my outboard engine to tell where my rudder/prop was pointed, but this isn't possible with a large boat with it's rudder under the boat. The rudder position gauge comes in very handy when docking/undocking so you have some idea where the rudder is pointed. I am even learning to use the steering much less when underway by paying attention to the gauge.

The photo in the listing shows the gauge and the sending unit. This led me to think that the sending unit was included but I received the gauge only!
