Hobonichi Techo A5 Cousin Notebook (April Start) 2016

Some reviews talk about the quality of paper of the hobonichi planner but I believe if they were to use it then they would see that the quality is amazing. You can use your fountain pen, paint brush markers and any gel pen of your choice and you won't get a bleed through. While keeping in mind that the paper is thin!! For some it may be a splurge but a amazing and worth it splurge.

After using it for almost a month, I have to say, this is the best notebook I've used so far. You'll be amazed by the high quality of the paper. Not like other notebooks, you won't just write a page or two then switch to another notebook, this notebook is just attracting you to make notes on it constantly! It perfect matches my personal/work needs. You could also purchase a cover for it on Janpanese website, the cover can be reused and you only need to change the inside notebook for different years.Highly recommended to everyone who has a budget.

Not as great as I thought and heard it would be! The price is too high for a date/notebook especially when the years is already almost over. In this one the writing is in japanese, but I don't mind it that much really. Would just be nice to know what it says.The best part in this notebook is the paper, it is awesome and one of the best out there! Very little to no bleeding and minimal ghosting.I will wait for the new 2017 english version and give it another try. Meanwhile I will stick with my plain old graph paper Fauxbonichi notebook.I feel I have more freedom with my art and planning when I set it up to the way I like it!

Read about this planner in planner blogs and was very curious about it--when I saw it on Amazon, was thrilled. I really like to see monthly, vertical weekly, and daily views. The only way I've been able to do this is with a binder planner, buying weekly and daily inserts. This is really bulky and the whole year of weeks and days doesn't fit in the planner at one time. But with the techno cousin, the amazing thin paper makes it possible to have everything in one slim book--less to store at the end of the year too. The paper totally lives up to the hype--some show through, but no bleed through, even with sharpie accent highlighters. And who knew how much I'd love the grid? Most gridded paper has bigger boxes than this--I think I read somewhere that they actually make the boxes bigger in products for Americans, but I adore this tiny grid. Yes, it's in Japanese, yes it starts in April--but it makes me feel totally exotic and organized. Product arrived in time, in perfect shape.

Oh wow for the first time in my life I am effectively using my planner daily. I am addicted to this thing. It's super premium, functional, and easily adaptable to planning, Journaling, or notes or all at once... Literally. Only issue is that it's all in Japanese. I feel like I am missing out on alot of the useful information built into the cousin. I hope they make an English cousin. Looking foward to 2017.

So wonderful to order this on Amazon Prime and have it in 2 days! Great planner. Have wanted it for months. I like the April start date and I do not mind that some of it is in Japanese. The full English version was January start and that would have been wasting 3 months. Would definitely order from this seller again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this planner. Had been looking for a planner which has a monthly, weekly and daily in one.This is the planner to have if you want everything in one spot and don't want to carry any of the above separately.It is a nice size and I can fit it in my Dooney Bourke bags with room for a large wallet and cosmetic bag.

Love how organized it keeps me and like the different options (yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily). My only complaint is that there is some bleeding through and it takes a long time for pens to dry so I'm often smudging the pages if I don't wait a minute or so before flipping he page.
