Turtle Beach - Ear Force P11 - Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - PS3 - FFP

I've been going through several headsets over the last year or two trying to find one that would be comfortable, audible, and sport a good mic. Thankfully this one seems to fit the bill perfectly. They fit nicely around my ears so I can wear them for long periods of time without much agitation (they still press a little bit just above my ear and that makes me want to take them off for a few minutes every few hours or so). The sound comes in clearly and I absolutely love the independent volume adjusters for 'Chat' and 'Game'; they allow me to adjust for Skype calls without removing focus from the game we're all playing. Most importantly to me, the microphone is GOOD. I primarily bought this headset for the mic and I was not disappointed. My friends were able to hear me clearly over Skype and the flexibility of the mic stem let me avoid breathing right onto it. There are only a few things that I did not like. Firstly, although the volume adjusters are nice and convenient, the box in which they sit is not. I frequently need to throw the cord over my lap or clip it onto my pocket to avoid having the weight of the box/cord pull on the headset and potentially shorten the life of it. Secondly, the volume wheels are very easy to move and I've found myself accidentally muting the volume on Skype or my games while fidgeting with the box as I described above. Lastly, the cups on the headset wobble quite a bit when they're not on my head. It's probably just so they can conform to the head to add more comfort but it makes me a bit uneasy all the same and I often wonder if they'll be prone to breaking. More time will tell. Overall, it's a well-designed headset with VERY FEW flaws. I use it exclusively on my PC and I have had no problems getting it to work (after I figured out how to separate game and chat sounds). Solid design, sound, and mic quality for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality headset. I only suggest that you wear a shirt with a front pocket for your own benefit!

I was hesitant to buy these because of the reviews I've read. A good amount, not only on amazon, said within a week they didn't work for whatever reason. It fell apart, short in the wire, mic not working. Also, the fact you can hear yourself in the mic speaking. I don't want to hear my voice! One of the people i play online with said he only hears himself if the mice basically touching his mouth, who talks like that?! So i took the jump. I do already have a headset but its wireless and tends to die before I'm ready to get offline, 4-6 hours or doesn't die quick enough and if i don't charge it it'll die within an hour or 2 of next gaming session. They say its not good to charge it often without it completely dyn. It'll kill the battery in whatever device your using. Its no fun when you can talk to people online. Im so glad i bought this! I love it! I got the while version! 1 problem i have with headset is cause I'm tiny the ear pieces don't fit right. This fits perfect and lots of room for expansion or movement. The cords not heavy. Control panel work perfect. I have used the IN game sounds through the headset only cause i don't like it. A lot of time i can't hear people over gun shots or i can't hear gun shots only people. Cant find a happy medium so i use just voices. Nice and loud. Crisp and clear! No echoing. Only complaint I've had with others is they can't hear me. Im a girl i talk quiet. Even with the mic at my mouth i don't have echoing. Maybe I'm not loud enough. I love this mic! I think it works WAY better then the more expensive one i have.

i use this for the pc. i would rate this 4 1/2 becauase all the great feathers but some could be changed. pros -the price. its a nice low price for a good gaming head set -conformable ear cups for all day use -great sound -a bit durable, it and a few falls, mostly because of the cords. -the little box thing(cant think what its called). its nice to beable to mute the mic, adjust two different volumes in the palm of your hand -being able to hear your own voice is really nice to have -flexible mic -lightweight. one day when i had it on, i forgot i had it on no joke - usb powered con -too much cord. sence i have it right next to my laptop, it gets in the way lot. if the bundeld cord gets knock off the table there goes the whole headet to the ground. and i move to 2 differnt room a lot per day and the cord gets in the way a lot -small box thing. it can get in the way and takes more time to adjust any thing if its hanging -adjusting length thing(pull down to make it bigger and to puch it up to make it small) i find myself ajusting it all the time, it needs to a little tighter -mic is a little picky, if i have it 2 1/2 clicks form the bottom it moves down, you cant have the mic exactly where you want it most of the time. -doesnt come with a connecter to use it with the ps3. even though it does have some disadvantages its still a great head

I hardly ever write reviews, but i think this one deserves a rating. Not much i can say that the 600 or so other reviews haven't said already. It's a little large and awkward at first, but it's comfortable enough that you get used to it fast. The sound quality is great. I can hear all the subtle sounds in games and movies that i never noticed before. It is easy to set up and use and the 12 foot cord is nice. Before i was having to sit on the floor with my old cheap headset. The price is ideal for me, as i am not a very hardcore gamer and only use the microphone for 1 game. Works great with my computer as well. I would definitely recommend this product; especially so, to the casual gamer who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a headset but still wants a quality product.

I bought a pair of these years ago when they first came out, and was thoroughly impressed by the sound quality, especially the amount of bass you could hear through them. Theyre comfortable, lightweight and can be worn for long periods. Unfortunately I accidentally crushed em during a move and had to purchase another. This second pair has sound that lives up to the first, but I didnt have this new pair for even half a year without the CORD FRAYING ITSELF. The main issue Ive had with these phones is the wiring. As you can see by the photo, there is a volume control box, about 1.5x3" in size, which is less than 3 feet away from the phones themselves. Sure, its nice to have dual-adjusting volume at your fingertips, but its got drawbacks. 1) The too-short length between your head and the box means that at best you have to strap it to your pants/shirt, and when you move your head it just tugs against you constantly. 2) The cord leading from the USB connector to the box itself is sturdy, flexible, and a whopping 12 feet long (one of the selling points for me, as I can actually move around the room without them being yanked off my head). Unfortunately, the cord leading from the box into the headphones is not. Its short as I stated before, its not very flexible and is very brittle, apparently....just from regular use, being twisted this way and that from being put on/adjusted/etc, my cord has literally unwound itself, exposing the bare wires inside, right at the box' connection point. They still work, but now that I have exposed wiring (electrical tape only sticks for a couple days before it undoes itself and comes free, it just wont stick to this cord material), Im getting a rattling in the right ear during certain bass frequencies, and if I run a fan nearby it picks up all sorts of crackling interference. My first pair lasted over 2 years and only broke because I mashed it under furniture... this second one ripped itself apart, literally, in less than 1/2 of one year. I do like the sound quality, comfort and cord length, but these things shouldnt split their own seams just because I wear them. Makes me unsure whether to look into more Turtle Beach products in the future, honestly. Had this incident not happened, Id be glad to give a 5/5 star review on them. As such though, it only gets 3 due to (potentially) shoddy cord material.

Now I have too say this is truly an amplified loud headset. I couldn't hear anything else when i'm on my ps3, or when I plug it into my computer or Ipod. Everyone else could hear it :D. I really like it, and from the picture it was red and black I wanted to change the color since i'm a girl, but that was cute too! When you get it, it smelled like some plastic. But once its in your house for about 2 hours, it'll go away. I usually spray perfume on something if it smells bad, But I chose not too. Also, I checked to see how I sounded when I talked, and the mic worked good too! Totally buy it if you love to game and talk. And one feature I love is that if im in a game and they're is a sound behind my person, I could hear it as if It were behind me. And, I can turn my sound up all the way when i'm playing just dance 2014, because It gets sorta tangled when you dance and spin with a headset on and I turn it all the way up, I CAN HEAR IT PERFECTLY! And it doesn't need to be charged. Which is good, because I talk a lot on my games. But BUY IT NOW!

IF you were to ask people who use a phone or mic what the one most hated thing about using the phone/headset most would probably say sound echoing (hearing yourself) This company does the unthinkable and makes it a feature. I don't know what they were thinking but who in their right mind wants to hear themselves repeated all day long. Granted they are not that bad on the ears and overall i wanted to like them however i cannot live with the echoing i hear and the feedback/echoing others hear on the other side. I have made all the adjustments i could possibly make and still to no end it doesn't help with either side. I didn't get these for just pure gaming i also got them because i do computer help desk from home support and thus wear a headset for 8 hours a day. I'm glad i had a gaming friend do a mic check with me before using these for work as the "mic monitoring" feature had to be the single most idiotic feature i have ever heard about . Yea sorry turtle beach i do not want to listen to myself every time i talk...other than that they weren't that bad but they are being returned. So to sum it up...if you enjoy hearing echoing all day long they would be a 5/5 if you are a sane person and cant stand the echoing my review of 1/5 stands. There is no normal way to disable the "mic monitoring" feature

I love this headset. This is my very first headset for my PS3 & I was SHOCKED at what I had been missing out on without them. I'm an avid CoD fan & now in multiplayer I can actually hear when someone is sneaking up on me or whenever they charge their weapons or pull the pin on a frag grenade. These headphones have great bass to them so you not only hear the explosions, you can almost feel them too 😄 I read up on the reviews for the P11 before buying & felt that I was getting a fairly decent set of headphones for a great price but come to find out, they aren't merely decent, their a great set of phones for budget minded gamers. I highly recommend getting these for a gift or for yourselves, they're a fantastic introductory set of headphones to have. I LOVE EM!

Ya habia usado este headset pero en su version especial que venian con el Black Ops 2 para ps3, debo decir que me gustaron mucho mas que aquella version por las orejeras, en esta version normal son de tela lo cual hace que no sudes alrededor se tu oreja cuando hace mucho calor. La otra version de BO2 eran de algo parecido al cuero y me daban mucho calor. Lo unico que no me gusta es que la version de BO2 el cable era de tela y en este es de plastico normal pero por lo demas son uPerfectos, comodos, buen audio, cable largo con entrada aux y usb, controlador de volumen. 10/10

BF4の為に買いました。近所にイヤホンジャックとUSBと2つあるのが売ってなく、どうせならちょっといいモノ買おうと思い購入しました。 これいいですよ。SkypeしながらなのでゲームとSkype両方の音量を自分で調節できるので助かってます。 もちろんチャットしないときはマイクスイッチを切れば普通のヘッドホンとして使えますのでオススメしますよ。 黒の方が人気があり倍近い値段になってるので白にしました、性能一緒ですしね。
