The “etching” makes these a nice complement to the decanter by the same vendor…that is until you use them. If you make the “mistake” of cleaning them in a dishwasher, the “etching” disappears. So it was merely embossed somehow. You end up with a nice CLEAN glass, free of all pesky decoration. So if you bought them for their SHAPE, good on you. If you’re buying them for their decorative map, never wash them!

These were purchased as a birthday gift for my husband, and they're very nice! Not only did they arrive quickly, but they were extremely well packaged. The etching is lovely and the shape fits nicely into the hand. I might buy another set of these so we have some for company. Highly recommended

There was a few bubbles in the glass and the globe does not go all the way around the glass which is the only reason I purchased this slightly more expensive version compared to another on amazon!

Unhappy with this product, especially considering the price. One glass had raised bumps on the rim & the number 3 appeared to be written on the surface of the glass. Perhaps indicating the # of flaws but still got through quality control!
