I need a replacement piece (pawn) can I purchase one please?

We also need a replacement piece (white rook/castle. Have you found any information as to securing a new piece? Thanks for your help!

Many complaints about the weight of the pieces. Can holes be drilled to insert screws for weight?

I'm debating on this item, but I do have a thought on the weight...What if you were to carefully take off the felt and add a matching size magnet w/glue and then replace the felt? Just a thought. Not sure if the size matters, lol, but maybe that would be easier to add weight vs. drilling any holes and risking cracking the wood...Great reviews so far, thanks people!!

are these piceces wighted ??

They are solid wood, and do have some decent heft to them.
