WOW, just WOW
I just got this in the mail today, and my kitties are already obsessed with it! Sadly, it's not lefty friendly though. It also fills up with hair quickly, which is to be expected. I LOVE that it feels essentially like a cat's tongue because two of my cats HATE normal brushes; this one tricks them. With me being allergic, I need to keep shedding at a minimum and I try to groom the cats 5 minutes each per day. I can already tell the difference on their coats and I am so impressed with this product, I really hope it helps with my allergies a little bit too--time will tell. Here's how much my cats like this thing. One of them saw me pick it up, he did his little happy purr/chirp/meow sound, and came running over for brushings. When the other cats saw what was up, they came over too. So I spent the next 20 minutes petting my cats in a circle.. They were shady spoiled before, now it's going to be worse!Oh, and the packaging is super cute.

I CAN FINALLY BRUSH THE BEAST!!!
I adopted a sweet kitty from the animal shelter a few years ago. We instantly became best buds, and she spent every moment snuggling up to me...until I brought out the cat comb. She transformed into a raging beast hellbent on gnawing my limbs off, no matter how many treats (or souls) I tried to bribe her with. I gave up on brushing her, and settled to randomly swiping her with a brush in the middle of her naps and running away. Then, I found the awkwardly-named Kitty Tongue Glove. I was embarrassed but hopeful when this package arrived. It looked like something a catlady would wear just for giggles. I put it on and waved it around for a few minutes, amused by my new paw before I quickly realised I was a catlady. Then, for the first time in my life, I GROOMED MY CAT. I couldn't believe my eyes! She was rubbing up against the glove, purring and rolling around like a vain damsel begging to be lavished with attention. I stroked her long black fur over and over until it was soft and shiny like the day I adopted her. I can't believe I solved years of scratched arms for just 7 bucks. I recommend this to anyone who has a beast for a cat when it comes to grooming. Warning: she still kick-stomped me and chomped my wrist when I tried to stroke her belly, so it's not completely a miracle tool.

My cat loves it
I'm always on the lookout for new things for the kitties; I got them this for Christmas. I decided to use it on the cat with the longer fur; the product suggests not using one glove on two cats unless they like each other which our two don't. The one I'm using it on loves it. He is a semi-long haired cat and sheds quite a bit, I have to groom him regularly to keep the hairballs down and though he seems to tolerate being combed everywhere but his belly, it's hard to get good leverage with a comb. With the glove, I can just rub and pet him all over and it does the trick plus he really likes it, pushing himself into the glove. the rough 'tongue' parts of the glove get clogged with fur pretty quickly and so far all I've done is to pull the matted fur off and it comes off fairly easily (I have not tried the package recommendation of using a comb to remove the mats of fur yet). The package says it can be laundered when necessary and I've not tried that yet either. So far I think it's a hit and it was nice to find something new and different for the kitties. I will have to order a second one for the other cat and I hope it comes in a different color so I can tell which glove belongs to which cat (they REALLY don't get along as I said before). On a final note, I deeply appreciate that this product is manufactured in the USA. Over the last several years, I have gone to great lengths to try and 'buy American', I see that as the key factor to getting the economy back on track. Trickle up economics actually works unlike trickle down and I'm finding it easier all the time to find American made products which I see as a good omen.

For the cat who doesn't like to be brushed
My long-haired cat never liked being brushed with the typical wire brush. Although his hair is long, it is thin. He definitely likes being "brushed" when I wear this glove. He will sit on my lap and purr, whereas when I tried using the wire brush, he'd tolerate it for 5 seconds and then walk away.I am left-handed, so it would be nice to be able to use a left-handed glove. The only glove offered is right-handed. It's also a little big on my hand, so instead of one size fits all, it would be nice if they offered them in small/medium/large. I also wish the pink pads that collect the fur covered more surface area of the gloves. The pads do collect hair, but probably not as much as a brush would. However, if your cat would enjoy a massage and you don't mind spending the time, this glove could do the trick.
