The Ashton-Drake Galleries Hush, Little Baby Collectible Lifelike Baby Girl Doll: So Truly Real

My 8-year-old daughter received this baby doll from Santa. She probably didn't even need any other gifts. She fell in love with this adorable baby. I love that it is heavier than most dolls and feels so real in your arms. It has a pleasant baby powder smell. The hair is pretty wild, but it's a baby doll and it's hair can be brushed with a soft brush to tame the beast! If all else fails, throw the hat back on it. The legs are a bit strange, sort of pigeon toed, I guess, but not a big deal, can easily be turned correctly when you don't want to see a pigeon-toed doll lying there. The breathing mechanism does make a noise, but not super loud. I thought ours was broken because she stopped breathing after a few times. It has an automatic off to save your batteries. There is a button up by it's neck that is really not noticeable unless you know where it is. Press it to reactivate the breathing mechanism. My daughter has several Adora and Middleton baby dolls, but this is her first REAL baby doll. She is mature enough to take good care of it. Perfect age for such a sweet gift. So happy that Santa brought it to her! She absolutely loves it!

I named her Ava-Rose and she's beautiful and perfect. Though posing her bent legs is a bit challenging I still love her. I think I would have liked of her legs were a little more flexible. And her hair is perfect. She smells so good!

This doll is very realistic! The only thing is that her legs are kind of awkward and seem a tiny bit twisted. Other than that she's wonderful! She looks very realistic and her breathing is pretty realistic too. Her limbs and head are soft plastic and don't compare to regular plastic dolls.

What a sweetheart. Looks real, has vinyl soft body, & fits perfectly in my arms. A few things I don't like?- her hair is not hand-stitched like the description says. Instead, it's "glued" onto the head. Kind of a letdown for me :( since i expected my baby to look as real as possible. Also, this is my first reborn babydoll and I was nieve to assume she was going to be anatomically correct, & would have her "body parts." She is NOT anatomically correct, and has a cushioned stuff center as a torso (like the regular dolls you see at the store.) however, you can't tell as long as she's wearing clothes that cover the middle part of her body. Other than that, she's a beautiful doll, and has the weight of a real newborn. Her breathing mechanism works, however it's installed in her chest so when she breathes, only the right side of it raises? Kinda looks funny since the naturally the whole chest is supposed to raise. Regardless, I do reccomend this babydoll to anyone who is looking for a realistic babydoll that's sold for a reasonable price! I love her & am pleased of my purchase for the most part! ;)

No look real

Very pleased with this doll. Hair and face look very real. Excited to give this to my daughter for Christmas to see her excitement and to see it breathe. The price is a little steep to just go off of reviews so I was nervous but good purchase. Came in a nice box and shipped fast.

Her skin feels like a real baby squishy and really soft. I have bought several reborn baby's. Ashton drake is the closet to feeling and looking like real baby.

This is a great product! Looks and feels real! Cloth torso....full legs and arms! Had turned so many heads! Was pulled over as the cop thought I had a REAL baby laying on my dash board while driving! ! LOL! That was a rather funny situation and the cop felt rather embarrassed!
