Would I be able to retrieve dog treats out of the 2 small front pockets?** A: The small pockets in the front are more like pencil holders. Maybe bigger treats. I have fairly small hands and I can't get my hands in there to grab something that isn't sticking out of the pocket. But the bigger pocket is pretty big and doesn't have holes. Pros: It doesn’t accidentally unclip when removing my scanner from the holster, nor does it sway as much as the belt clip attachment of the other holster does. The outer two pockets are perfect for holding pens - easier to grab from and stash back into. Lastly the “hidden pocket” is perfect for stashing my phone quickly and storing spare notice slips. This version doesn’t have a hole to clip a carabiner through, only available with the tan color, ew. The minutest improvement for my use of the pouch would be to make the main pocket a trim slimmer or else an inch deeper for a securer fit of the scanner.
