Great resource and reference
The Project Management Tool Kit is an excellent resource based on comprehensive summaries of all the processes outlined in the PMBOK. It has become a welcome addition to my reference library, and features checklists and other useful tools, which are practical and helpful.

Fantastic book
The Project Management Tool Kit provides ready reference of tools any project manager must be using in a project. As the name suggest, this book is really a utility belt for project manager. This is a reference book based on PMBOK, with very concise summaries of project management processes. None of the topic in this book exceeds couple of pages which makes it interesting and easy to grasp. This book should be must for any budding project manager as well as experienced.Disclaimer: I did not get paid to review this book, and I do not stand to gain anything if you buy the book. I have no relationship with the publisher or the author. I got electronic format of book from publisher for review.

Not the content I expected
I purchased this book thinking it would be a great reference for a large project I was working on....it was not. I was helping set up a PMO and project management guidelines for various teams and expected to find some current 'leverageable' templates or guiding project principles that I could extract from the book and apply to our project.....I did not find these. As a result I was not able to leverage the contents that the author provided and overall felt that I would have been better served referencing PMBOK or another methodology. The book also fell short in providing tips, lessons learned, and directional information that could be readily used and it read much like a catalog or topical dictionary of project management topics....much like what one would find if searching the internet. As a result I was greatly disappointed in my purchase and consequently give it a low star rating.
