Worth it!
Yes it’s tiny; the tin it comes in is the size of a U.S. half-dollar coin but it works incredibly well. One quick dip is all it takes. I guess it will clean a hundred tips, probably even more. For tips you think are beyond help I would try this before I threw them away. Chances are this stuff will make that old, corroded tip look and work like it’s brand new.

This is a tiny size container. My mistake. Oh well. Haven’t used it yet though

Cleans and tins well
Cleans more aggressively than other tinning paste. Worked great for some really bad soldering iron tips.

Excellent product
I recently started making jewelry using soft solder (I am a metalsmith) and purchased a Hakko FX601 iron. It was a bit of an investment, but from all of my research it appears to be hands down the best (or at least tied with the Weller 100) for making jewelry for many reasons. Anyway, I also purchased a smaller tip, which was also more expensive than tips for other brands, but to be expected. As I started using the iron, I did everything the "experts" said I should to care for my tip. I read everything I could find and watched every YouTube video, especially ones from places like Weller. But after awhile I was having a really hard time getting the oxidation off of the tip and it wouldn't pick up solder. Then I stumbled onto something about this stuff. I had heard that regular tip tinners is corrosive and you should use it with care. When I read about this, it seems it does not have the corrosive ingredient. The reviews were good, the only bad ones were about the price, which again is to be expected. Well, bottom line is it works. I followed the instructions and went through the cleaning and tinning process 3 times I think it was and my tip was like new! These pictures are not from the original cleaning and do not do justice to the end result. The tin is tiny, yes, but I expect it's going to last for years, so it is definitely worth the money
