Kampfeschwader
Kampfgeschwader will attract world war II buffs. It is helpful and interesting to read the German point of view of the air warfare. I thought it was well done, not propaganda as some books are. I did find the daily activities and battles became quite similar causing me to skim through some pages.I always enjoy information describing the planes and pilots stories. Well worth the price. Solid effort
There's enough meat here to make this a worthwhile purchase. It's less about the technical aspects of the Ju-88 than it's service record, but it does that well.

JU-88, operations
Very good essay regarding development and operations of Germany's JU-88/188 light bomber. Well written, worth keeping for reference.Shall look for more of this authors work.

A good read but a bit superficial
This book follows the formula for this series. A good read but a bit superficial. Great drawings and pictures.

German WWII biography
Gives a new viewpoint of the WWII air campaign and the author has a bit of personality.

I read the Kindle edition, and the only think ...
I read the Kindle edition, and the only think I wish was corrected in this book, is that the color plates could be made larger, and clearer in the e-book.

Ok, but lacks a lot of detail from all fronts
Ok, but lacking in real content. Not what I expected

Great Book, Great Value
Excellent book. So informative and interesting, Did you know for example that the first German aircraft to crash on British soil in WWII was a Ju88?Or that the first aircraft to drop bombs on Britain since 1918 was a Ju88? Almost every page contains a nugget of WWII little-known history. The reason I have highlighted this is to show that this book is not just for WWII aviation enthusiasts. John Weal is a well known WWII aviation artist and historian, arguably the finest profile artist of German WWII planes. At this low Kindle price, virtually a give away

Interesting?
Quite interesting in general terms, photographs are good (Obviously would be better in hard copy). Fails to mention that original concept designers were American. There are better technical books around. The losses during service are well documented, sometimes makes one wonder if the game was worth the investment??
