I purchased this cover for my last two iPhones. It was recommended to me by my sister because she loves it too. It's pretty easy to install, just make sure your fingers and screen are clean. If it's on correctly, it has no glare and barely any noticeable fingerprint residue. It's matte, which I like. A few days ago I cracked the screen and thought that the fall damaged my phone. To my surprise, my phone screen wasn't damaged at all and I promptly ordered a replacement. It WORKED! My phone was saved.

The screen protector was a little tricky to get lined up because you must do it manually. The kit came with everything you need to clean your phone screen and removed any lingering dust particles. I would suggest turning your phone off and after you clean it and dry it off, tilt it so that light reflects off the screen and makes it easier to see any dust particles then use the supplied adhesive tape to stick to the screen and remove them. For aligning the screen get it as close as possible to the screen and then let one end stick to the screen and work the air out as it starts laying down on the screen. I like that the edges are beveled as this helps the edges not to catch on anything and peel up when you put the phone in your pocket. The beveled edges will also hold up better in the event the phone drops and hits the edge of the protector. The main reason I wanted a matte screen protector was to eliminate the glare and this screen protector does just that which makes reading as though you’re reading a paper. There’s absolutely no glare. Someone said the screen looked cloudy with the protector but that’s not my experience as everything was nice and clear. I can’t speak of durability but it’s been a week and it’s holding up well so far. I was a little skeptical over the quality at this price but the price point is affordable and if it continues to hold up it will become my choice for a screen protector. Great product! Update: 1/18/25 This screen protector is still going strong. It hasn’t started peeling up at the edges, or gotten scratched up from regular use. I purchased this back in August 2024. This is the longest I’ve had a screen protector that is still in perfect shape. Again, I can recommend enough this product!

I’d never heard of a matte screen protector but figured I’d give it a try. I’ve only had it on for a day and a half, but I’m enjoying it so far. A lot of care went into the packaging and what comes with the protector. It has two alcohol wipes, a dry screen cleaning cloth, and super nifty dust remove sticker and alignment stickers (they stick to the top face of the screen protector so you don’t have to precariously try to hold it while positioning it on your phone). By far the easiest, cleanest, and least stressful experience I’ve ever had installing a screen protector. One it’s aligned and you run your finger down the center, it super-satisfyingly adheres the rest of the way on its own. I love the anti-glare feature, and the texture feels nice while scrolling and typing. The matte finish does change how your screen looks versus other protectors (or the bare screen) - akin to the slight “fuzziness” you get using some computer monitors. Overall not a big deal at all, and I probably won’t even notice after using it for awhile… I have to apply lotion to my hands frequently throughout the day, so I do still get some fingerprints especially when scrolling or pinching, but they are less noticeable and WAY easier to wipe off compared to the bare screen.

Wow, usually I stress out about installing screen protectors and always end up with a speck of dust or air bubble that's hard to remove. I installed this one on my new phone right after removing the apple screen cover it ships with. Since it was clean (hadn't touched it yet) I skipped the 2-stage cleaning wipes included and just dropped it in place (having the case on helped position it well too). The protector just dropped easily into place and magically pushed out the air except for a small bubble in the center that easily pushed out with my fingers. *2-year update: It's been almost 2 years and this protector has held up amazingly well - it still looks like new. All past (non-glass) matte protectors I've used eventually (a year or so) start to show wear as the matte finish slowly wears off. Also, my wife has the same protector on her 12 Pro Max and it protected her screen wonderfully in a fall - the phone hit face down into a rock or sidewalk edge and the protector cracked but the screen underneath was fine. Very clear and nice matte surface. Highly recommended - worth the few extra dollars for the ease of installation alone. This protectors is also thicker (glass-like) than past flimsy bendable ones I've used so should offer better screen protection too. Also is the perfect size - leaves enough space for my case but no excessive uncovered space like several competing products seems to have if you look at photos in reviews.

I spent most of last year shielding my iPhone 12 Pro with my hand whenever I stepped outside, so I tried Mothca’s matte glass hoping to cut the reflections. Installation was painless: the plastic frame kept everything centered, the adhesive flowed out in one sweep, and not a single bubble lingered. Once it settled, the surface felt almost like paper—my thumb glides for long swipes in games, and fingerprints simply don’t stick. Outdoors the difference is immediate; bright sunlight no longer washes out the display, yet colors stay crisp and Face ID triggers just as quickly as before. After a month in a Spigen case the edges haven’t lifted, and a stray key only managed a faint scuff that wiped away with a microfiber cloth. The protector stops a hair short of the bezel to avoid the halo effect, which looks odd only until you remember you’ll never see dust creeping underneath. If you hate glare but want glass-level clarity, this is an easy recommendation.

Mothca products are top notch! I continue to be impressed with the quick application and quality screen protection–as long as you follow the instructions you get no bubbles, or very minor ones that can be “squeezed” out and the alignment/fit is perfect! The matte screen protectors reduce glare and still retain the readability of the screen. The protector can last years so it is a great value and even with accidental drops I have not experienced damage to the phone screen, only chipping/cracks on the protector. I will continue to purchase screen protectors from Mothca!

I have been using this protect on an old phone for a year. Now with a new phone, new screen protector. This is a over all very good product, with a few short-comes if you don't mind. Pro: 1. This screen protector really works. Im a very clumsy phone user. My old protector survives multiple falls to the ground, falls against sharp edges and cuts. It had scratches and chips, but the screen underneath remains perfect. 2. The matt finish/ none glare is what Im going after by buying this particular product. When I drive, with it, I can see google map all the time, even if the afternoon sun shine directly on it. All the other regular screen protecter become mirrors under that circumstance. Con: 1. If doesn't come with a locating frame for application, so you got to use some skills applying it. It took me three times to get it in a center position so I can stuff my phone into the phone case, which is also very precisely cut. Because I have to yank it out twice, I dis some damage and have bubble at the edges. 2. The new iphone 12pro has a particularly sharp and saturated color display. This screen protector does make it a little more soften/dull. But this is the best I have seen for anti-glare finish. Can my eyes feels more easy looking at this softened color display. Depends on how much you care.

Two months ago I updraged my old iPhone to the new iPhone 12. I went to my cell phone provider store and apple store online to look for an anti-glare screen protector for my new phone like the one that I had on my previous iPhone. I couldn't find anything so I decided to check Amazon and see what they had and I came across the Mothca Matte Screen Protector. I also looked at other brands but after doing my research I decided to buy this one. The one thing that I look for on a screen protector is that it needs to be matte and provide anti-glare. I like to be able to see my screen under the sun without having to look for shade or try to create a shadow with my other hand in order to see my screen. This is exactly what I wanted. The installation process was very easy. I went back to my cell phone provider store to fix a something with my phone, they were amazed by the screen protector that I had because they had never seen anything like this before. They asked me where I got my screen protector from and what brand it was. I pulled up the information on my phone and they took a picture of it and said thank you. It caught the attention of other customers in the store as well and they askedd for the information as well.

This is my first review for an Amazon product that I’ve purchased. It saved me big time and here’s why. I bought a Mothca Matte screen Protector for my IPhone in July. Last week my iPhone was accidentally slammed against the edge of a marble shelf. Initially I thought my iPhone screen had been smashed and they cost $350 -$400 to replace. It had slivers on the edges and huge cracks across it. I was devastated. My bestie looked at it and said that hopefully it was the screen protector that had been damaged not the actual screen. That the protector had actually worked as they advertised. I was skeptical but $15 was a fraction of $400 so I ordered another matt finish one. When we removed the old damaged screen protector, my expensive iPhone screen was in pristine condition! I am so grateful that the company made a product that worked as they said it would. I love the matte finish too. No more finger marks to clean! I highly recommend this brand of screen protector and will always buy one from Mothca from now on. Thank you!
