Got a second one for the in-laws. I usually mash the garlic, then squish a couple pieces of onion to push the garlic the rest of the way through. A small spoon fits the curve nicely to scrap any rests into my gruel. Easy to use if you are on a flat surface. I've tried it on uneven surfaces with little success.... Good and solid craftsmanship.

This product is stainless steel so it has a pretty decent weight to it. It is super easy to clean. Its simple to use, just press down and voila minced garlic. I would usually purchase minced garlic in the jar because I would hate to peel and mince or chop by hand because it would leave my hands smelling. Now I can purchase whole fresh garlic cloves in my dishes without any real additional work. I have also been able to use this product to zest lemons and oranges. This mincer is not very big so it fits in my kitchen drawer with my other kitchen gadgets. I received this product at a discount for my honest unbiased review.

This works so well - better than any other garlic press I've ever tried. Easy to clean, too! Love it!

This little kitchen tool is so simple yet efficient.My number # thing I hate when working with garlic is the smell it leaves on my hands.I'd rather go out and buy the jarred minced garlic before messing with opening and chopping it at home.The sad thing is the jarred is just not quite like the fresh stuff there is a taste difference.Yet now with this dandy garlic crusher as I like to call it.Helps prevent you from getting your hands dirty or stinky.You can peel the skin of the garlic off first or just give it a good hit with the tool and the skin pops open easy.Than for the fun part just take the unpeeled garlic and place underneath garlic crusher and push down rocking it from both sides with your hands.It will puree/ mince your garlic nicely and you don't have to use a knife to get it like that or even a garlic presser, which those are nice but they can be a pain at times to clean out.Another great thing is it's stainless steel and clean up is a breeze.It's shape is very basic with the grid in the middle and the handles on the sides. It's surprisingly has some good weight to it too.I received this item at promotional price for reviewing purposes to give my honest unbiased review.This doesn't change my opinion on the product and I personally prefer this one over garlic pressers, due to the fact this item takes up less storage space, no messing with the garlic so less smell on your hands and the cleaning process is easy and you get great minced/puree garlic!
