Difficult to get all available digital channels; have to keep moving the antenna periodically to get the best reception for a given channel, but then that creates reception problems for the other channels. Also, I get better reception with the antenna laying flat (behind the TV) than hung on the window facing the transmitter towers (...go figure).

Only reason for 3 stars is that it did not work in my area. We live where there are too many trees in a low spot, so I had to return it. I have friends that have them and they work great.

This antenna works pretty well. I gave it four stars because this powered unit gets roughly the same reception as a similar, yet cheaper unpowered unit.If you just must have a powered unit, this one works ok. But since we're only talking about a 5 volt power supply, I seriously doubt there is an appreciable amount of gain, and I work on radars for a living.I would personally opt for more gain or go to an unpowered unit, if I had it to do over again.

I live across the river from new York city in nj and Iam only maybe two mile away and all I get is all the Spanish station and Chinese program maybe 3 main ones , don't buy it , I don't get where they get 50 miles

The clarity is better the my $10.00 one but it does not pick all the channels that my $10.00 picked up. Really low quality product.

Very disappointed. The antenna wasn't even properly packaged, the box was smashed open when I received it. I also didn't realize that an USB port was required but maybe that's in the small print somewhere, thankfully my TV has one. Not that it really mattered in my case because this Antenna only picked up 14 channels and the regular department store antenna that I already had picks up 27 channels, so total waste of money, plus after a week this one died.

I believe this product is for people who have never tried the old fashion bunny ear antennas. We live about 6 miles outside Nashville and were curious how this antenna compared to our bunny ears. Easy to use but we only picked up 1/2 the channels with this product. 48 vs 24. They were just as clear but we wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. The old antenna may be an eye sore but it works so much better!
