Great for dry brushing
Pretty happy with this so far. Purchased this for dry brushing to help exfoliate. I expected a boars brush (or any dry brushing brush) to be rougher based off of peoples comments on youtube and blogs, but this one is pretty gentle (i.e. slightly rougher version of a mesh loofah). I've used this about 5 times so far, and have noticed a difference in my skin (softer, better overall color/texture due to increase circulation, etc). The extended handle is also great in that I am able to quickly & easily reach my back without straining myself.

Not too abrasive, but still feels like you're exfoliating. Only downside really is that the handle is perfectly straight so it's a little awkward to get the small of your back with it - would have been better if the handle was slightly curved.

Love that it is all one piece
Love that it is all one piece. Long handle is great and bristles are firm but not too abrasive. The wood at the top of the head of the brush tends to darken - not sure if it is mold or - but I much prefer wood to plastic. I usually replace the brush once a year.

Ick!
At first this looked like the perfect brush but after using for a few weeks it has turned blackish at the base where the bristles meet the wood. It's almost like the wood is rotting and is rather unsightly. I hesitate to continue using it thinking the wood may be harboring bacteria. Also, the bristles are really too soft for my liking. I think I'd rather have a plastic handle and nylon bristles and will look for that.

The Boar is anything but
Long solid handle allows you to reach all the way down your back or all the way up if your shoulders bother you. Bristles seem soft when feeling them but are plenty stiff to scrub well. Easily reaches toes to clean them and toe nails. Great purchase. Would gladly purchase again for self or as a gift.
