Planet Wise Reusable Zipper Sandwich and Snack Bags, Sandwich, Flame

Update: September 2021- 3 years later and I'm still using the same 4 bags I originally bought. Granted, they didn't get used as much during the pandemic year when at least 3 school days a week were spent at home for quite a while, but still. These are great!These are just what I wanted to replace using disposable zipper bags in my son's lunch EVERY DAY. I've used the small size and the larger one both- for slices of cold meat, cheese, various fruits. I will say that I continue to use a plastic container with a lid for things like crackers, pretzels etc - mostly because it keeps them from getting crushed, plus I suppose it's more airtight and keeps them crunchy. But these bags are great, so glad I have them. I feel very gratified, thinking of all the plastic bags I WON'T be sending to the landfill during my son's school years!

I really love these things! These are a staple in my household now. I bought four of them and have been using the same two for a few weeks to bring crackers and pbjs to work with me. I love that they can go in the dishwasher! I also love that they zipper instead of velcroing like other reusable baggies because the sound of velcro is weird. These are zippered so it's easy in and easy out. They are also bigger than I expected, allowing for fancy bread that is bigger than your typical bread slices. Gives my pbj some wiggle room and keeps my wheat bread from getting smushed. I added a picture of a regular sized peanut butter jar for size reference.

Purchased these to make a little difference - good quality and constructed well. Compared to similar, pricing was reasonable; seemed to have high customer stars/comments, and there were many colors and there are many designs to choose from. I purchased 2 sandwich and 2 snack size to alternate through the week. My 15-yo daughter likes using them. They are much less bulky than Tupperware/Rubbermaid type containers, so better for school/backpack. I’m glad I purchase. Only unknown - how well holds up in the wash; however, rinsing and drying them so far, seem easy and works. Will likely purchase more.

We purchased these for preschool lunches and have used them without any issue for nearly a year. My 3 year old has been able to use them on her own and we've taken them to the beach, in the car, to the park, and even stashed them in our bike baskets.The quality of Planet Wise bags is very apparent and we've recommended these bags to many friends.Note: we hand wash them.

We bought several patterns of the bag and will certainly be purchasing more! We use them primarily for non-greasy & dry snack items such as pretzel rods, tortilla chips, crackers etc.... I feel they are probably best suited for this use. We bought the stainless steel To-Go Ware containers for wet items such as cut up fruit, veggies, yogurt, etc. and the Lunchbots Uno stainless steel containers for sandwiches. We've had these for about 2 months now and have not done more than wipe the inside out for cleaning - no odor, no staining - good as new!! if you put sandwiches and oily chips in, you would have to do more than this, but again, I don't feel that these are the most practical for those kinds of food items.... Also, food stays fresh for up to a few days if you happen to forget a few crackers in there - no problem with going stale! There is no residual taste from the material used and it seems to be fairly sturdy and durable and anticipate them lasting for quite some time with gentle use. The best part? The longer you use them, the better you feel about the sheer number of sandwich bags you are keeping out of the garbage! Can't go wrong with that, and that in itself makes these an awesome buy in my book!

Perfect for a small snack for my Kindergardener. Aside from the adorable design, this bag is easy to clean, easy for my 5 year old to open and close, and the lining is light and not to "crunchy". I have used it for grapes, goldfish, orange slices, carrots and celery, and the occasional cookie! Highly recommend and will be buying more of this brand in the future!

The only reusable bags I've purchased until now are the Itzy Ritzy bags, which we love. We needed a few more and these were a little cheaper, so I thought I'd give them a shot. First impressions are that the designs are cute and they are about the same size as the Itzy Ritzy ones (I think the Itzy Ritzys are about 1/2 longer), but the lining is much thinner and stiffer. This could be a good thing - not as floppy, so sandwiches may be easier to get in and out? I'll be interested to see if they hold up as well as the others long term.

I use these when I pack. I put my tweezers and fingernail clippers and tiny items that I don't want loose in my toiletry bag in it. I used to use a zip lock baggy but they get holes in them. It's super cute and I love that it's reusable. I just washed it on the delicate cycle in my washing machine and let it air dry. I haven't tried it for snack yet, but I bet it's great.
