Original Style ~ an Engineering Marvel | Sit-Skate Scooter Best Classic Toy ~ in Teal Blue

This toy was a gift for my 10 year old's birthday, I thought that he would be a little too old for this toy, so I got one for his 8 year old brother too. The two flying turtles arrived together fully assembled. We have had them almost a month now and those boys have been riding them from the second they wake up until they go to bed. I have all tile downstairs, I know everyone would think I am crazy for letting the boys ride them in the house, but I live in AZ and it is 110, a mother has to do something to keep these boys active, otherwise they would drive me crazy. The wheels are orange and do not mark up or scuff the floors, the turtles are low enough that they aren't scratching the walls either. This is the single best toy I have ever gotten for my boys, we used to have plasma cars when they were younger, but hands down the flying turtles have kept them entertained for hours. I am recommending them to all my friends.

This toy was about $20 more expensive from Learning Express. Bought it there, but quickly returned it, when I found it on Amazon. Got it for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She navigated through the store for at least an hour on two seperate occasions (I had to pull her off). Saw children as young as 4 on it through teenagers. Since it is cold outside she rides it through our house. It suits people up to 150 lbs. (Can't wait to ride it myself!!) Spouse thinks it is a novely toy and children will quickly lose interest, perhaps, but so far so good. It is durable, a little challenging and a whole lot of fun!

The flying turtle is well constructed and made in the USA.My 8 year old 10 year daughters love it. I was worried that the older child wouldn't like but she does because she is kind of small for her age. It works great indoors on our basement concrete floor. It does not leave skid marks on the floor, even on our kitchen vinyl floor. I think kids as young as four would love this. It is a very unique thing to ride. I would only ride it on relatively flat, fairly smooth surfaces like driveways and sidewalks because you can't get it to move well on inclines. Adults like to watch the kids ride it. I am very pleased with it.

I wasn't sure when we bought it, but my daughter absolutely loved it. She's 6... Her 11 year old sister loves it too. Actually, every child that has come to our house since Christmas has immediately climbed on it. A couple of kids were way too tall for it, but still got it going. They loved it and my girls do too.. Well made and has been one of the best toys we've bought in ages.. This is a definite must have. No Bells, No Whistles... Just tons of fun!

Great way to get my kids worn out a little. Kids have more fun when there are areas that have a little incline ( the more the better, the kids say ) . Durable and overall happy with product.

This is an excellent buy. I have two children, ages 5 and 9, and they both have a really great time on the flying turtle. It is extremely easy to maneuver and well made. Both of my children have bicycles, but it is a great alternative to keep them from getting bored. My two children enjoy racing each other with one sitting on a skateboard and the other on the flying turtle. They are hilarious to watch.

My 5 year old son had ridden one of these at a friends house a while back and loved it....I was a little skeptical when I saw the price but got it for him for Christmas. He couldn't wait to ride and didn't have to as it comes assembled. He LOVES it and so do his 7 and 9 year old brothers!! I couldn't resist and jumped on for a try myself. I even gave it 4 stars for educational as he has been checking out how it is put together - he wanted to understand how it moves. I can't help thinking that this would have been a great toy for a friend who has no use of her legs. Too bad we didn't have flying turtles when we were young.

We've had these from many years now. Used as an out door scooter. Many kids and many miles put on them. And they are still working. These are great fun for the kids. My teenager still tends to join in with the younger ones when they pull them out to play with.
