great product.
I used this on two computers. and it works excellently. easy to install and no hassles with activation. on the one laptop i had to use the automated activation line but that took three minutes and was easy. i would recommend this product to anyone who wants to reinstall windows.

I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND FOUND OUT IT HAS A MISSING FILE SO CAN,T GET ON LINE.YES ITS IS A BOMB SHELL. IF THE SALE MAN SAID THAT THERE WAS NO INTERNET ADAPTER AND DRIVER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR . NOW AM SO DISAPPOINTED I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK.

Purchased but unfortunately it's not the operating system that's the problem
My husband ordered this disc so that he could fix his non-operational laptop. He said that he is sure everything will work well, but unfortunately it appears that it's more than just the operating system that needs repair.

It didn't work. I have a 64-bit and it kept trying to load the wrong version. Had to take my computer in for repair after trying this product. Do yourself a favor and purchase the real product from Windows...it costs a little more, but...

Works
It does reinstall from scratch (even new hard drive), but four stars because I'm having problems finding drivers for this software. Seems glitchy

this worked great for me to restore basic win7. then i had to do all updates,drivers,etc. it was worth it to me at this price to at least get started on restoring.
