Review: Couldn't put it down! - EMOTIONAL! HEARTBREAKING! BEAUTIFUL! So many ways to describe Forever Black by Sandi Lynn. All together, it was just an amazing 5 star read for me. Sandi Lynn did a wonderful job with her debut novel. I was hooked from the very first page and just couldn't put it down. I was completely intrigued by both Elle and Connor and needed to know everything about them. “A happiness grew inside me I never thought could exist. I was too happy and it scared me; it scared me to death because all I kept thinking was nothing lasts forever.” Ellery Lane moved to New York with her boyfriend, Kyle. After 4 years of being together, Kyle decides that he “needs space” and leaves Elle all alone. Lonliness is something that Elle is very familiar with since her mother passed away when she was six and her alcoholic father passed away when she was 18. With the help of her best friend, Peyton, Elle decides to move forward with her life. During a night out, Elle encounters a belligerently drunk Connor Black. In her naturally Good Samaritan way, Elle helps Connor get back to his apartment. Once the morning comes, Connor doesn't remember a thing from the night before and shows his true colors when he assumes that Elle is just another whore that he has brought home. “What's to tell, I'm a 30 year old CEO, I have more money than I will ever need; I do not do relationships; I usually get everything I want, and I do whatever I want.” Elle is like no woman that Connor has ever met. You have a beautiful heart and soul, and you don't deserve to never love someone.” I quickly fell in love with both Elle and Connor. Elle is such a sweet, giving, strong but stubborn woman. Her life has brought nothing but sorrow. Yet, she still carries on with the intent of enjoying each day. Unfortunately, her secret makes it increasing harder for to fulfill her intent. The thing that I love about her the most is that she is not afraid to speak her mind but at the same time would do anything for anyone. Connor is a typical cold, bossy millionaire that is used to getting what he wants. His sensitive side shines through quickly in his need to protect and take care of Elle. It is clear that Elle changes his whole world. “I could never understand my purpose in this world. I have had nothing but pain and loss my whole life. But now I know why God saved me the first time. It was so I could find you.” There is so much to Elle and Connor's emotional journey but I don't want to ruin any part of it. I truly enjoyed everything about Forever Black, especially the wonderful ending. I would definitely recommend this one and I absolutely look forward to even more from Sandi Lynn in the future.
Review: Loved The Storyline! - This book was such a cute and wonderful read to me. The storyline was a good one as well. I LOVED Conner he was just such a wonderful character and wonderfully written. I loved seeing him being broken down and taken so far out of his comfor zone. Now Elle her character I liked I didn't love but it was only because of her immaturity but then again at her age (23) that type of maturity is to be expected for some. I thought the way that Conner followed Elle home in his car while she walked home was to cute. Especially since she made him mad because she chose to walk lol. Peyton, Elle's best friend is such a hoot! I so love her! From the clues that been dropped(reviewing as I read) I'm hoping that _____ doesn't die. Elle forced Conner to see and live life through her eyes thus really allowing him to REALLY and finally LIVE life. I just thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the storyline, the character development, and the bond between the character and reader. The love between Conner and Elle was such a good one to me. They gave to the other what they didn't even know they needed. Again this was such a good book and it had me clutching my pearls with worry for ____ trying to see if they were going die. But I loved the way the book ended and the twist and turns of Elle and Conner's relationship. I loved how Conner was mature enough to handle Elle's immaturity and how Elle was mature enough to handle Conner's close off mess. Get this book you will enjoy it, it was well worth the money and the time hope this helps you. Sent from my iPad2

EMOTIONAL! HEARTBREAKING! BEAUTIFUL! So many ways to describe Forever Black by Sandi Lynn. All together, it was just an amazing 5 star read for me. Sandi Lynn did a wonderful job with her debut novel. I was hooked from the very first page and just couldn't put it down. This book was such a cute and wonderful read to me. The storyline was a good one as well. I LOVED Conner he was just such a wonderful character and wonderfully written. I loved seeing him being broken down and taken so far out of his comfor zone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mr. Black can be my forever!!

Fanfreakingtastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely loved and adored this book. It is definitely on of my favorites for 2013. Once I was able to read this book without any interruptions I devoured it in a day for the most part. This book tells the story of Ellery and Connor. Ellery recently experiences a breakup in the beginning of the book and doesnt really want to date anyone. Connor is a millionaire CEO, controlling, manwhore who doesnt do sleepovers. The way they met is kind of scary in a way. Ellery sees him at the club drunk as a skunk and decides to be a good Samaritan and help him home and take care of him. Who in the world does that????? Only Ellery and only in books. Most of the time the females get on my last nerves romance novels but that was not the case with Forever Black. I loved that Ellery had a mind of her own and she didnt give in to Connor just because "he said so". She challenged him like no one had before. That along with her sweet kind heart made Connor fall for her. I also enjoyed reading about their dates and how he would just pop up at the places she went to. It kind of reminded me of Christian Grey without the whole Dom/Sub thing. Its something about those controlling millionaires that gets my blood pumping! Ellery's history and story also hit home for me and I can relate to what she experienced growing up. I dont blame her for not sharing her secret right away and I was LIVID when her ex-boyfriend Kyle spilled the beans to Connor and even more PISSED off when Connor walked out on her. Instead of consoling her he walked out on her. How can you care for someone and just walk away so easily? I would not have been so quick to forgive him for that. Call me crazy but I even loved the arguments that they had after everything hit the fan. I was on Ellery's side the entire time. Connor was too quick to dismiss Ellery and send her back on a plane. He was cruel at times and I probably would have just left him alone for good but of course that would not have made for such a good story. LOL!! I loved the ending of this book and the epilogue. I felt really emotional during the beach scenes. Even though Connor had his controlling moments he really had a sweet side. I got a cavity from that sunset scene because it was just that darn sweet! There is nothing like a good happy ending to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If you havent already............... READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!
