Svelta Tan Skin-Perfecting Self Tanner / Firming + Anti-Aging Botanicals / Skin Perfector / Body Bronzer / Buildable, Dark Sunless Tanning

I am really really fair, and the svelta self tanner works well. No streaking and I love the applicator. It has some color when applied so you know you are applying evenly (probably a big contributor to the lack of streaks). Wash the applicator and it will last for the whole container.

Easy to see where you put it, even color development. Subtle yet noticeable

Goes on too dark and didn't seem like it had any self tanner in it. Very disappointed for the money spent.

Horrible orange and hard to apply

Let me start by saying that I am a self-tanning novice. I've done it myself maybe once before in my life. I read these directions thoroughly and followed them to the letter, particularly the part about showering and exfoliating first. The bottle comes with a mitt, which is a cheap foam sleeve that you slip your hand into so the product does not stain your hands. It said to use long strokes and check to make sure it was on evenly, then let it dry. It took about a half hour to do my entire body because I was being careful. I used it on my face too but was careful to only put a little.The result is a noticeable glow that looks pretty natural. I have attached a before and after picture of my arm. I can't speak to how long it lasts since I used it only today. Overall I am happy and would use again.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review. My opinion is my own.

This was such a good tanner, I got this tanner around 2-3 months ago and it is probably one of the best tanners out there, it is easily scrubbed off and it is such a pretty bronzed colour, I highly recommend this product!

I've tried a lot of self-tanners many of which either have a horrible smell or a horrible color. This self-tanner is much better. The smell is actually very pleasant, the product goes on smoothly and evenly and you end up with a very natural looking color. Definitely one of my favorites!

I really wanted this to be perfect, but it's not. The color is gorgeous, like the most amazing shade of bronze that I could never be naturally. I was amazed at how good it looked right after applying. Unfortunately (and this is the most important quality in a self-tanner beyond the color), it rubs off. On everything. Yes, I showered. I even rubbed a little to really get the excess off. But while on vacation in Florida, I got that beautiful shade of bronze all over my bras, tank tops, white socks, and (while sitting cross-legged) the tops of my white sneakers. Oh! And all over the white hotel sheets! I should've taken a picture. Just a big muddy blob on my side of the bed.I can't recommend this. Still in search of the perfect self-tanner...
