Great but noisy
Going to edit my original rating to lose a star on this item. I can't use it anymore. I bought a new desk and now it won't clasp onto it. Desk is thinner and it won't screw to the top of the bracket so that it stays on the desk. It gets tossed in the trash because it has zero purpose sitting on my floor next to the desk. Seriously should not be a gap THAT big left over with this. All they had to do was the make the screw longer so it meets the top, that way it fits on any desk. So its losing a star for wasting my money and not being fully adjustable like it claims. Note that if you have a thin-lipped or glass desk that you cannot use this item.------------------------------------------------------I love this thing. I wish it was not made of such LOUD plastic. I will still give it 5 stars despite the fact it drives me nuts a little. The reason I'm rating it so high is because it does what it is supposed to and is extremely comfortable. I hurt the muscle in my upper arm and was finding it impossible to use my computer. I bought a bunch of ergonomic products like a keyboard, mouse, etc. The only issue I had was keep my arm proper for the mouse. This solved it. I use it with my mouse pad that has a wrist rest built in that I've had for years. They work perfect together. After a week of gently using the computer, I'm able to get back to proper work on it again because the pain is all but gone. I give all the credit to THIS piece because my keyboard and mouse hadn't arrived yet. The only issue I have with it is each time you touch it, it makes a squeak or grinding plastic sound as the weight is dropped on it. It really does get annoying when you go back and forth constantly from mouse to keyboard all day.

it's so easy, always a plus
I have a keyboard tray that my wrist is constantly resting on the edge of when sitting at my desk. After constant use, you can imagine, my wrist and eventually, entire hand, start to ache and hurt. I bought this along with a little bag filled with beans (like a bean bag chair) to aid in my comfort. The installation can be done by a toddler; it's so easy, always a plus. I tried it initially where it's positioned just like the top-left corner in the main picture on this listing, but I found it to be too flimsy. Someone will naturally put weight on it and over a period of time, it will break. HOWEVER, I still love this product!I am sometimes unknowingly rough when plopping down at my computer desk, so instead I positioned it to be sideways (the platform you put your wrist/arm on rotates on a peg). It gives some softened, additional space to my keyboard tray - combined with my bean bag cushion, I'm a truly happy camper! No more aching, hurting hand or wrist anymore :)

Much more useful as a multipurpose extension for dinner plates, headphone rack, or other things besides a boring 'arm rest.'
Got this to extent my reach for a mouse-pad area on the computer. It proved to be too skinny to be a mouse pad itself. And as an arm rest the padding is thin so it's not too comfortable for that either. But instead it turned into a nice sturdy side extender for dinner plates, cups, etc. And strangely it holds plates pretty well.I also have been hanging various headphones and headsets on it. Works perfectly for that and keeps clutter off the desk.Lot of multipurpose uses for this thing. And I thought the clamp wouldn't hold well. But in testing it, my desk started tipping before this gave way.

Not good.
Mouth of clamp is very small only big enough to fit cheap desk without a metal frame. One of the pictures shows the girl having the mouse on the arm rest and it moved 4-6 inches onto the desk surface. That is not this product as the position is fixed and non adjustable to where the top piece must go. it overhangs the desk maybe two inches at most with 95% of the arm off the desk. It is very flimsy plastic so without much of a brace it bends under the weight of my arm. It was cheap and did at least function enough to show me a arm rest is what I need to stop my wrist pain however I will now purchase a metal swing arm with a larger clamp to actually do the job I expected this product to do.

I think they are Pretty Handy
I bought two. Sadly, I could not use one because I forgot about having drawer space along the front. However, the other desk did not and this turned out to be great for my husband. He loves his. I'm not worried about them braking.... They're not flimsy, but they're not a super sturdy. If you're going to constantly bang on them, or use them as support to stand up... you're wasting your money for sure. Now that I've got the second one, I'm looking for some way to repurpose .

Bought this to prevent carpal tunnel since I'm in front of the computer for nearly 6+ hours. It does its main purpose but it moves around a lot. It doesn't bother me as much but some might care

The product might be good, but it does not work with my wacom tablet. Painful, and the level is not right.May be great with a regular mouse.

Fell Apart!!!
I purchased the product just a few weeks ago and loved it. However, a piece of cloth on the bottom fell off and then the item itself kept slipping off my desk no matter how tight I turned the giant screw on the bottom. I do not recommend this product as mine didn't even last a month.
