Diamondspun Luxury Coaster Set - Set of 4 Drink Coasters with Holder (Brown) There is a saying, "You get what you pay for" and this fit the bill! These coasters were taken to a whole new level beginning with it's packaging. Thinking I was going to get some cheap flimsy coaster set, receiving these proved me wrong! As you see in the pictures, it comes securely wrapped and a premium looking and feeling gift box that can also be used as storage for safe keeping.Once I received my 4 piece coaster set , I immediately tested it out with both a hot cup of coffee and a sweaty glass.The coaster was unscathed after the hot cup of coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised that the little grooves on top of the coaster kept the cup in place. So far so good!The sweaty glass of cold water also performed well. I tried to jostle it around, but the glass stayed put. Most of the water was absorbed, but there was some left afterwards. No problem - I ran the coaster under the sink, wiped off with a paper towel, and voila, ready to put back in the case!Really glad I went with this purchase and worth every penny, highly recommended!

Decent coasters, other coasters I've used had have been more substantial wood, or stone style.These type are more flexible vinyl/leatherette type material.So far so good, and they might have less risk of marring a surface than the hard style, but I don't think I would buy another of these type.They did arrive very quickly, and have a very nice pattern/look to them, if the flexible style is what you like.

Somehow from the photo I thought these were a tan color with a texture but they are actually white with gold trim that looks cheap and tacky to me. I doubt I will ever use them.

These coasters are absolutely beautiful! Great colors, great design. Also love the holder and packaging. That said, I'm not at all impressed by the absorbency. According to the description, these coasters are supposed to "Absorb sweating, dripping, and condensation safely and effectively", but that's not been my experience. In contrast, water just seems to puddle up on the coaster (see picture). To me, absorbency is the most important thing, so I've rated these accordingly.Bottom line: if you're buying for looks/style or using with non-sweating drinks, these are great; but if absorbency is a factor, I would suggest some sort of sandstone coaster, such as those made by CoasterStone.

The main reason I got these is that several reviews mentioned that drinks do not stick to them. As this has been a perennial problem with coasters, I ordered them on this basis.It is not true. Drinks do stick to them. They are light, and often stick to the bottom and get carried around if I am not vigilant.The quest continues.

Beautiful hand made coasters! These are super great quality and are super functional! :L O V E these!!!! Product came exactly as expected and I even got an email from the owner to say they got the order and that it would be on its way and if any problems to let them know. Wow! How nice! That is something you rarely ever see! I am impressed! I wish all sellers were as excellent as this one! The product was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect order and the pictures do not do these justice. You can really tell the quality in the details and these are not your "every day" coasters! But you can use them every day, but these don't look like the every day ones!They are elegant and nothing sticks to them or you don't get the sweating from the glasses at all. Best coasters, ever! Worth every cent! I buy most of my items from Amazon and this company was by far and away one of the best ones I ever recall purchasing from. I really liked that they cared about the purchase and even contacted me personally to let me know. Thank you and excellent job!

These are beautiful and well crafted. Way better than the ones you always see. However, I would have rather of received 6 coasters than this hard crafted box it came in. This box was also so nice I felt bad tossing it. If you are shipping this as a gift, than this this pefect! If it's for yourself, you can laugh like me and say you indulge on yourself.

Beautiful! Wonderful in every aspect and the holder is a very attractive bonus. Not certain that they are quite as absorbent as thirstystone, but we prefer these to our two sets of that brand. They have a classy, unique look, and we like the soft vs hard surface.
