SF0700A Flapper Replacement with Chrome Handle

Works like a charm! Easy to install and the toilet doesn't stick anymore.

Simple to install and has worked well for the last month or so. The handle can rotate if you are a bit hard on the flush so be sure to turn it only as far as needed since it is just moving a cable and not lifting the flapper like in a traditional setup.

Did not work for my toilet. Make sure you can take the parts out of your tank before buying this. Mine is all one piece from Home Depot and this “guaranteed to fit” and “simple to install” didn’t work in my case.

The concept seemed to be really neat, and it appear to be truly a better, design. However in 3-4 weeks of operation it has stuck open 3 times. Since we have holding tanks, and have to pay for a pump truck this turned out to be a big deal! I could have replaced my conventional flapper 20 times for what this has cost me. So I lived and learned! In the garbage with this one, and back to the old faithful flapper. And just in case you are wondering, YES, I did install it correctly, it is simply a piece of junk.

Would be a good product if it worked. It is easy to install and the design idea is great but the flapper hangs up and you have to shake the handle for it to close and seal. It will only seal on its own about one time out of four so it will go in the garbage and I'll replace it with the traditional cheap flapper. Save your money and time buy something else.

Doesn't fit all models, so be careful if you have less than two inches between the inside of your current handle inside the tank and anything near that handle. Otherwise, if you can fit it in, it is worth it! Solved the problem!

Once installed, it works great! The handle is a little cheap-looking but the toilet now uses less water so overall a good purchase.
