This shocking, factual account of many of the historical abuses of mind control by psychiatrists, funded partly by militaries, universities, government, and more, is both insightful, and disturbing to say the least. Here you will find work cited accounts of psychiatrists that got paid to shoot LSD directly into the brain of their subjects, of how Big Pharma was the first major distributor of LSD in the United States, of how American doctors and psychiatrists deliberately gave LSD and other drugs to adults and children without their consent, and how the American and foreign psychiatrists experimented on animals and people with surgery, drugs, and more to erase their memory, brainwash them, program them to kill, and create multiple personalities. This is not good bedtime reading to say the least. If you have a high ability to confront evil, and want to fight it, then this book is for you. This is hugely powerful, and highly informative, and should be required reading in every college.

Formerly titled Bluebird, this work is a relatively short yet rather concise and thorough history and documentation of MKULTRA, it's subprojects and predecessors, with reprinted declassified documents included and accounts of some of the practitioners and victims, heavily relying on the small amount of documentation that survived the ordered destruction of evidence and the subsequent Congressional hearings on the matters, disclosing the paper trails and CIA funding conduits, as well as connections to Scottish Rite Freemasonry (who sponsored many conferences on the subject of "behavior modification"), and the fraudulent nature of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, whom, among its ranks, can be found mind control and ritualistic abusers and pedophiles, having been created specifically to discredit those who may have recovered memories of mind control and ritualistic abuse. A must read for anyone wanting hard evidence of such programs being sponsored and/or created by doctors and our own government "for the People." Unfortunately, "they," in this case, are the "People," and we are just a herd that they must keep tame and controlled.

Dr. Colin Ross does a great job providing a factual and provable review of the past history of unethical human research including non-consensual research funded by United States Military and intelligence agencies in collaboration with educational institutions such as Harvard, John Hopkins, MIT, Princeton, and Stanford; pharmaceutical companies such as Eli Lily; medical schools and hospitals; the American Psychological Association; the National Institutes of Health, the Veterans Administration Center, U.S. Public Health Service and others.Examples of past non-consensual experimentation include the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, The Manhattan Project, The Willowbrook Experiment, and Radiation Experiments.Mind control experiments such as Project CHATTER, Project BLUEBIRD, Project ARTICHOKE, Project MKULTRA, Project MKSEARCH, Project MKNAOMI and others were often interwoven with radiation experiments and research on chemical and biological weapons. Dr. Ross highlights the importance of recognizing that psychiatrists, psychologists, neurosurgeons and other contractors conducting the work were embedded in a broad network of doctors and some of the research was published in medical journals. He points out that the medical community has never admitted or addressed these abuses.Thousands of U.S. citizens and others are continuing to report being victims of covert non-consensual research in a manner similar to MKULTRA but with the addition of newer technologies.

Read this book. I have read a great deal on mass mind control, from Le Bon to Meerloo, and was looking for mental coercion and control at a more individual level. As a child of the 50s and 60s I know all about the birth of the Drug Scene, and Now I know who started and why. I know about the Manchurian Candidate and now I know it is not only possible, but it has been done. Not easily shocked, this book succeeded in doing just that. Burns wrote "Man's Inhumanity To Man," but he didn't know the half of what man is capable of. Many professionals laughed off, and denigrated Stanley Milgram' s "Experiment." If you are one of those then read this, you will stop laughing.

the terrible crimes (a fraction though) of the cia that used EVERY means possible and went to any lenght to test new tools for the expansion of their power, even if the victims of their criminal experiments were the weakest in society: children, mental patients, people in prison.. it shows the true nature of the psychopaths that run our societies

C.A.R. has got to be one of the bravest man around exposing an Establishment, which in turn the Public turns to trust...how often may he have needed fast wheels to escape ? The book is a must read for anyone who wants to stay sober.
