This chair is so comfortable!!! I work a 10 hour a day desk job and my back was starting to ache from sitting In a regular office chair 10 hours a day. No matter how supportive the chair was I always ended up slouching. This chair has helped so much with my posture! I thought for sure I'd have to switch back to my regular chair after a bit but I've had this chair for several months now and have not switched back to a regular office chair once. I dont even miss having a back on my chair and it doesn't hurt my shins. This chair is so versatile, I can rest my shins on the shin supports, I can sit with my feet flat on the floor, or I can sit with my feet on the shin rest. One of my fellow employees had to get one for her office and loves it also!

Here are my findings. Wood: The expensive chair has thicker wood. The cheaper chair's wood is the same width, but about 2/3 the height thickness, suggesting it would support less weight or wear out more quickly. Padding: Expensive chair has thinner, but denser padding. Cheap chair has almost excessively thick padding that quickly flattens out as soon as you sit on it. My main concern is that the padding on the cheap chair will go completely flat after a year or so. Only time will tell. Fabric: Material on both chairs seems to be reasonable quality and not likely to rip or pop seams any time soon, but the fabric on the more expensive chair is rougher and a bit abrasive on bare skin after sitting for a while. Support bars: The expensive chair has a single support bar in the back but is surprisingly sturdy. I thought the knee supports would be very wobbly but are actually sturdier than the cheap chair with the additional cross bars. I am very disappointed in the placement of the cross bars on the cheap chair because I sometimes pinch my toes under them as I rock. It seems like a no-brainer to avoid them, but when you are sitting in it all day working from home, it happens more often than you'd think. Additionally, the cross bars create more contact points with the floor which could cause problems on hard wood. Assembly: I encountered the same issue on either chair which is easily resolved. Don't tighten all the screws before you put the main seat on. Leave some wobble so you can set it on the pegs and guide the screws in more easily, otherwise it will be difficult. I had no other assembly issues. Most complaints about assembly are probably written by mechanically incompetent people. You really don't even need instructions to put these chairs together. Rocking Motion: The more expensive chair seems to have a wider and smoother rocking range. The cheaper chair tends to lean you forward a bit more keeping your center of gravity forward with more pressure on the knee supports. I hate to say it, but this single factor is what wins for me on the cheap chair since it is better for my back. The only way for people to really know what will be best for them is to try them. Other features: The angle of the seat and knee supports on the more expensive chair feel about perfect, whereas the cheaper chair's seat feels angled forward a bit too much putting extra pressure on your tailbone area. I suppose the angle adjustment would feel different from person to person though. The more expensive chair comes with adhesive felt strips to put under it for use on wood floors, where the cheap chair comes with nothing. While using the cheap chair, I rolled over a small pebble (something hard) which pressed and lodged itself into the chair's wood. Every time I rocked on it until I discovered and removed the pebble, I scratched and damaged my wood floor. On either chair you should tighten the screws periodically as they tend to come loose with use, but the cheap chair's screws seemed to come loose more quickly with the same use. The more expensive chair has a place to add an optional backrest (for $150 more), but the cheap chair does not. Neither chair has height adjustability, but either are adequate height for use at a normal height work desk. Some of the non-rocking chairs I have had are too tall when using wheels. Overall impressions: The expensive chair is superior in material quality and overall function in every way to the cheaper chair. The only question is, is that quality worth the additional $200+?

First and foremost I am a heavier guy. I am 260lbs and 5'7" tall. I am for sure at the upper end of the weight limit of this chair. It protests if I sit down too fast. As a former weight lifter, now gone to seed, I have thick legs and thighs. So I was concerned about many of these style chairs complaining about leg room. I had no issues with this chair, my legs fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare. I use a sit stand desk and swap between kneeling/rocking in this, to standing for 8-10 hours a day in my home office. Very comfortable for short stints of 1-2 hours. I do not recommend sitting 4+ hours continuously in this chair, this is not a high back office chair you can just sink into. You will use your core to stabilize and shift. It's really not designed/intended for continuous use. Literally the only complaint I have about this chair is that it needs another support between the knee pads to prevent lateral movement. Of the pads when entering/exiting the chair. 5 stars, very happy with it. Edit: if I could give it 6 stars I would. Several months in, it's still a great chair. Also, one of the plywood cross braces split right down the middle recently. Even through it's no longer under warranty, the company still sent me a new part. Super satisfied.

I bought this back in Dec 2020 and used it regularly since. It’s not a bad chair but as others have mentioned it’s overpriced and has some flaws. There are three main issues I find with it. First, the knee cushion screws tend to loosen over time so keep the allen wrench around. This is particularly an issue because there is only 1 screw to hold the knee cushion in place so it will swivel otherwise. Second the cushion has dislodged from the wood base for the knee cushions so the cushion tends to float a little. It’s not so much that you end up hitting the wood base since the outer cloth holds it enough in place but you definitely notice it move. Third I can sit in it for an hour or two but often (especially with long straight durations) I find that my butt gets sore and I need to stand up or shift or take a break. Obviously you don’t want to sit for long periods of time but I never had that issue with a standard chair. I think the cushion just doesn’t really hold up over time. So while the chair is still ok enough for me to keep using I think it’s overpriced at the $130 i paid for it and I’ll likely be looking for a replacement.

I'm a big fan of kneeling chairs for better posture and less strain on the lower lumber, but I would not recommend this particular option. The build quality and design is poor (for example: there's only one single bolt attachment for each knee pad, causing the knee pads to loosen and swivel within a couple of weeks of use; two bolts per pad would have secured the knee pads to prevent the swivel, OR a single connected knee pad across the body for both knees would have worked better to prevent the swivel). The materials are also flimsy/weak -- you can tell by the light weight of the wood it's not going to hold up well, as many reviews indicate concern or fear. My first cracks and splinter issues in the wood occurred within the first 90 days, outside of the return window. I'm a 220 lb man, and I use an adjustable height desk so I stand for half of my day - so this chair wasn't even sat in for 8 hours/day. Would the flimsy materials hold up for a MUCH lighter person? Possibly! But with the poor design of the knee pads, I think you'll be re-tightening them every few weeks like I had to. To be fair, the cracks and splits in the wood didn't render the chair unusable until 2.5 years later when it completely split and forever bent/slanted - but with using it for 1/2 the day at most, that might be more like a little over 1 year of life for anyone who doesn't rotate between standing/kneeling.

Everything arrived in perfect condition. All small parts items were furnished with 1 spare. Very strong, long-lasting construction. All wood pieces were made from furniture grade laminated plywood with no voids. Nowhere was cheap glued together sawdust used as with some other brands. All metal hardware screwed into threaded metal bushings. These fasteners will hold and NOT come loose like others that have screws into the wood itself. Cushions are made from memory foam, are thick and comfortable. One dimension that was not clear from the manufacturer's info was the total width of the knee cushions from outside edge to outside edge. This measures 19" and fits perfectly inside/under the leg opening of our roll top desk. In short, I could not be more pleased with every aspect of this item.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really wanted to give this hair 5 stars, but there are things I don't like. The bigest thing is that the pieces look used. They were covered in wear marks. It almost loooked used. It’s a rocking chair so it will leave wear marks on the bottom eventually. Mine came with those wear marks. It would have been nice if they had put a plastic piece on the area that touches the floor to protect the wood. Only one of the big side pieces was in a protective bag and the other wasn’t. You could also see where the bolts had been tightened and left a mark on the wood before I even started putting it together. The boards were all covered in scratches. Now, the instructions were horrible. They actually did say what piece was what letter or number, but there were no letters or numbers on the pieces themselves. It took a little trial and error to get the right ones in the right places. the 3 cross boards are three different leingths, so you have to put them in the correct order for it to fit together. Also, the 2 sides are not parallel, so the boards don’t have 90 degree cuts. From the part that you sit on, the the parts where your knees go, it expands wider as it goes. Now for the positive part of the review. It is very comforatible to sit in. One person mentioned that it wore his hair off of his shins. I can see that happening if I ever sat on it with shorts on. I did notice that if I sit up straight, my knees are on the pads instead of my shins, and it is more comfortable sitting that way. The pads are super soft. They have very thick padding. I don’t see it getting too hard after prolonged use, but if it does, I’ll update the review. The height is just right for my desk. There is no height adjustment or wheels, so they had to make it a fairly neutral height. As far a stability goes, there are bolts and wood screws holding it together. The 2 knee pads are seporate from each other. This means that the front of it is free and does flex quite a bit. I’s not flimsy and isn’t a loose bolt problem. The wood just flexes a little. This is what others were talking about when they said it’s not verry sturdy. Because they made it out of steam bent ply wood, it’s going to flex a little. I think it’s plenty sturdy. Although, I am only 5’6” and 160 lbs. A heavier person may stress it out a little more, causing it to flex more. I would like to see a rolllong model one day. I know there is one on Amazon, that is adjustable and has wheels, but I like the wood look better. Over all I like it and will probably keep it. Ionly gave it 2 stars because of the waer on it when it was supposed to be new.

I was skeptical to make this purchase, but desperately on a hunt for something to alleviate horrific chronic upper back pain. My pain derives from stress and posture. My worst episodes are treated with toradol, which helps take the edge off but doesn't fix. I was in the midst of a bad episode when I bought this chair. I pieced it together with ease and took it to work the next day. Absolute game changer! I felt a significant amount of relief and used it the entire day! My knees were slightly sore after a couple hours of use (because they aren't used to the pressure) but that will alleviate with time and I was able to sit regular for some relief. The rocking feature is fantastic and soothing! -Also engages your core to plus up the positive effects. I would also add that I adjusted my work station to where my eyes naturally hit the middle of my screens once sitting on my rocker, which helped the positive benefits. Overall, great purchase with quality material that is sturdy and supportive. The padding is thick and generous. Highly recommend if you are considering an ergonomic chair.

Esta perfecto para mi escritorio, paso mucho tiempo sentada por mi trabajo, y esta silla me ayuda mucho a mantener la postura, se me quitó un dolor de espalda que arrastraba desde hacia tiempo. Es suficientemente blanda y suave, puedo cambiar de postura con facilidad, y ademas mecerme!

Tal como se anuncia, tal como se entrega. Pero retiró el producto después de 4 meses de uso debido al envejecimiento prematuro del acolchado. Alternativa buscada para asientos de oficina.
