This press is fantastic. Smashes out burgers at the rate of 2 per minute, if not more. Can't fault it. It is easy to use, easy to clean (I throw it in the dishwasher) and we make gorgeous, thick, juicy burgers will all sorts of herbs and spices using 100% Organic beef. Would suggest using wax discs top and bottom or a big burger can stick inside the press but using the wax discs makes the burgers easier to store in the fridge or freezer so it's a no-brainer. I highly recommend.

Put a bit of grease proof paper in the bottom, makes it much easier to get the burger out. Other than that cannot complain, decent sized burgers that are not too fat.

This product is good for when the grandkids come round, helps them to understand the value of making your own as to shop bought

I bought this to compress dried figs and candied peel etc into a fig wheel rather than to make burgers. I opted to buy a stainless steel one rather than aluminium which were cheaper. Expected bright polished stainless steel but it has a dull grey look to it. It did wonder if it was an alloy of non stainless steel metals. It isn't attracted to a magnet but when you google, there are various kinds of stainless steel - some dull and some not attracted to a magnet. Nevertheless it works well. Although round "cellophane" discs are included I first lined the bottom with a sheet of baking parchment larger than the press to make it easy to release the compressed fig wheel.
