Perfect match, wonderful price -- too good to be true!
$50 cheaper than the GE part. Identical to the assembly I pulled out of my 1995 model year GE Profile TFX22PRXAAA -- wiring harness, heaters, thermostat, and 3-prong connector. Hole centers for the heater tube frames were a perfect match. The heaters in this assembly, as opposed to the WR51X443, have an overall length of about 9 1/2" -- smaller so they can fit in the narrower 22 cu ft side by side fridge. I was also able to confirm the part # when I looked at the "Technical Data" sheet fastened right behind the middle of the fridge's kick panel. Under "Replacement Parts", the WR51X442 was listed for "Defrost Heaters & Harness." BTW, before ordering--if you're willing to remove the back panel from the freezer compartment--you can do a quick test on your existing heater by separating the connector halves, and testing continuity on the two pins with the larger diameter pink & blue wires. If open circuit, you KNOW that this part needs to be replaced.

Easy to install
With the lack in of reliability new computer ran refrigerators have I chose to DIY the heater defrosters. Watched a YouTube video also ordered a long handle magnetic screwdriver ( a must have ) and fixed my refrigerator unit within 30 minutes. Still working 5 months post install.

Perfect Replacement!
I bought this to replace a faulty part on my Highpoint refrigerator. The manufacturer part was about $70.00+ to replace, more than I wanted to spend on an old refrigerator. My refrigerator is 19 years old, well beyond its lifespan, but I've never had a problem with it since I purchased it (used) 5 years ago. If I had to spend upwards of $100.00 to fix I had decided I would just upgrade to a new refrigerator, however, I happened across this OEM part for less than $20.00 and decided to take a chance and buy it before just forking out several hundred on a new refrigerator.I used a YouTube video to guide me through the installation process and felt everything was pretty straight forward.I've had the part installed for a couple weeks now and my refrigerator is working better than I can remember, so the original part must have been failing for a period of time.Very pleased with the end result thus far. I'll update if it begins to fail anytime soon.

Don't waste your time and money on this product!
If you want to waste your time and money, then by all means go head and order this generic part like I did! Go ahead and order it, tear your refrigerator apart to install it, and hope that it does not fail within 45-days, like mine did, so that you will have to do it all over again! And pray the refrigerator does not catch on fire and burn your house down!I purchased this part because the price was great. It sure beats the price of an OEM GE defrost heater kit. Sometimes generic parts work just fine. Well, with this particular product, the old saying is true, "You get what you pay for." Not only did it quit working within a month and a half, it produced a burning smell, like that of a hair dryer or electric wall heater that was overheating. I was concerned the refrigerator was going to catch fire! When I requested a return from the seller, Top Appliance, they refused. They did not even have the courtesy to contact me with warranty information on the product to get a replacement from the manufacturer (though I would not want a replacement with the same product). Then I remembered when I opened the package, there was no manufacturer information in or on the box and no warranty information supplied either. Obviously, it does not come with a warranty and Top Appliance does not stand behind their products.I would recommend that you use a genuine OEM defrost heater kit and not take any chances. If you do order generic, I would tell you to find one with at least a standard one-year warranty. I ordered an OEM GE defrost heater kit to replace this defective thing and, though it was more expensive, I think in a case like this it is well worth it.
