Skullcandy PLYR2 Surround Sound Wireless Gaming Headset, Black/Yellow (SMPLFY-207)

Well, I had researched these headphones for awhile and have seen some disparaging reviews. I however have had a great experience with these.So for the positives, they are very comfortable headphones. I use them as a tech support from home and work 8-10 hours a day with them. If I set them on the charger overnight, they will last a whole shift with no problem. I'd say the charge will last 11-12 hours of continuous use. I have no problems with ear fatigue.They sound fantastic. There are 3 eq modes, which I have not messed with because they seem fine right where they are at. And I can feel the bass rumbling, the bass range is great. For phone conversations the clarity is very good. But they certainly do shine while watching movies or gaming. They are a blast. I use them a lot for music listening as well.At this same price point, there are a couple sets from Corsair and Logitech. I almost ordered the G930s, but I am really glad I didn't Going wireless is important to me, and I can walk all over the house with these while listening to music and never once have I had an issue with cutting out, interference, or dropping. On the other hand, most of the complaints I've heard about other wireless headsets is they run on the over-burdened 2.4Ghz frequency most wifi stuff does. I can not say what frequency these transmit on, but they have never failed me yet.Regardless, I have had zero buyer's remorse on this one. I have dropped them, stpped on them, smeared peanut butter and all other kinds of daily abuse and they are still there, waiting for me the next day, ready to go. I also recommend very much the sturdy USB cable from Datastream. Very happy with my purchase.

I love these headphones. I've had these headphones for about a year or so and they are still very comfortable around the ears and light weight. The build quality is nice, however, the plastic is a bit flimsy around the top padding. The sounds quality for games and even voice chat is great. The headphones have dual volume to adjust voice volume separately from the game volume. This is a great feature that I use more than I ever thought I would. The wireless last me about a week of gaming for 3-4 hours a day. Distance for the wireless headset is about 50ft or so. This allows me to walk around most of my house without losing connection to the receiver. Last but not least, people on the other end say they can hear me clearly with no issues or background noise.This is a great purchase and I could not be happier with the Skullcandy brand.

I've literally never posted a bad review about ANYTHING - but these headphones are just terrible. The sound quality is great and that is the only reason why I gave one star, other than that the headphones are cheaply made. I first ordered the headphones and 1 day before my warranty was up the headphones cracked on the left side below the band (same side as the microphone). I am very careful with my electronics and handle everything very tenderly. I barely had to adjust them because I have a fairly small head.Fortunately, Amazon sent me a new pair (and very quickly at that!) well before you know it, it cracked in the SAME EXACT SPOT, the screws in the inside came loose making the left side of the headphone just dangle by the wire, unfortunately I'm now a couple weeks past the warranty period and cannot get them replaced. I am out of $100 dollars and have to purchase a new headset. I've never in my life had a headset just crack. I am livid. I reached out to SkullCandy - and no response. DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES!!!

I would have gave this a 5 but it only lasted less than two months. The head phones work but the mic quit. I use this in my call center and I need the mic to talk. It was so amazing up to this point. the clarity and the noise canceling was one of the best. am going to reach out to the company and see if they will return it for a different one.If the next one lasts longer and doesn't break like a lot of people that have them say that theirs have. Other than this issue I have not problem with them and hope to get this replaced and start enjoying them again.I recieved my new pair and irt worked perfectly. Went to put it on my head and it snapped on the side. This is something I was told about. My others ones lasted 6 weeks. It was the mic that qit working. no problem with it snapping. I am returning them after 1 week of use.

I was looking for a nice, durable, wireless headset to replace my Plantronics Gamecom 377. Several of my friends complain about Skullcandy as being a cheap-sounding, "looks first, sound quality 2nd" line of products. I ignored them and bought this headset, and it sounds fantastic. However, I understand why they were complaining about Skullcandy's product line. I live on-campus at a university, and there is a skullcandy retail store where you can try on all of Skullcandy's other headphones. Compared to this headset, the rest of Skullcandy's headphones feel and sound very cheap, have treble that isn't crisp, and poor bass response. Also, the other headphones have a very echo-y sound to them. This model, the Plyr 2, blows all other Skullcandy products out of the water. Additionally, I can watch netflix and play games 5-6 hours a day for 3 or 4 days before I have to recharge the headset.The ONLY complaint that I have about this product is the connectivity. I use it with the PC, so the microphone is USB powered. Sound goes through the USB cable as well, but it is low-quality mono channel. I hooked the 3.5 mm audio jack from the Pc to the wireless transmitter, and sound quality is fantastic. If you are hoping to have everything hooked up entirely by a single USB port, that wont work, but if you don't mind hooking up USB for the microphone + 3.5 mm Audio out jack, then it is a very good product.

Mein Freund schwört auf Skullcandy wegen der tollen Soundqualität und hat deswegen auch dieses Headset zum zocken bekommen von mir. Es sieht gut aus und hat guten Sound, ABER! Nach ca 3 Monaten (durchaus sehr regelmäßiger Benutzung) ist einfach beim Absetzen ein Teil abgebrochen. Wir haben es einfach wieder mit Sekundenkleber geklebt und jetzt passt wieder alles und man sieht es auch nicht, da der Bruch innen war. Begeistert bin ich davon trotzdem nicht, denke so etwas sollte bei der normalen Benutzung nicht passieren. Wer kein Problem damit hat es mal zu kleben wird aber sehr glücklich damit sein.

Los cascos estan bien es una pena que no sean compatibles con xbox one asi que no me valen para jugar ni escuchar juegos ni escuchar las charlas con los gruposY me tendrian que aver llegado el 15 y llego con 1 dia de retraso por lo demas todo mjy bien

Ortung von Spielern ist sau einfach... Sound/Bass verhallten ist je nach Mode sehr geil und Musik hören macht echt spaß damit! Hatte Anfangs das problem das ich nur Mono gehört hab, war aber mein Fehler (bei PC drauf achten das man USB und Aux anschliesst)... Wie bereits gesagt ist Sound mega und kann mehr als problemlos viel teurere Headsets wegschlagen! (Astro A40 hust* hust*)... Mikrofon könnte besser sein ist aber mehr als okay, cool ist das hochklapp/mute feature!!! Hauptsächlich hör ich damit Rap, Trap , alle arten von House... macht bock das Ding, kaufempfehlung ist raus...

El soporte que usan con tornillos para los auticulares es de un plástico muy frágil, cuando se entregaron ya venian quebrados de un extremo, independiente el manejor de transporte considero que el diseño no es el mejor como soporte de auriculares.Su funcionamiento en sí no lo validé porque no lo regresé-reempaque mismo día, así que no estoy calificando calidad de señal de la marca en si.Posible mala suerte de uno entre mil ejemplares...
