Never used a selfie stick before, but figured it'd be a nice gift for my parents. The remote shutter works great. The mirror is very handy when using the main phones camera. I would recommend NOT removing the protective sheet that is on the mirror in case you fold the holder, with the mirror facing the selfie stick as it will make contact and scratch the mirror.Other than that, solid stick. Fits my giant nexus 6 phone.

Love it!! Bought this for a trip to Europe where I knew I would not have access to wifi/bluetooth. What makes this so great is the mirror on the selfie stick which prevents you from reversing the camera which would have resulted in a lower image quality compared to the forward facing camera. Another benefit is the ability to adjust the clamp so that you may position your camera vertically or horizontally. The forward/backwards tilt works well.The only drawback is a few times, the telescoping stick would get stuck and I was not able to extend it completely or close it completely. It's well worth the extra couple of bucks compared some of the other selfie sticks.

I love my new Selfie Stick. I have an LG phone. I only wish the hold position worked easier to keep the phone from giggling. It works but on my stick I have to double check that I have it secured. I have never used any other Selfie Sticks. This is my first so I can't compare it to any others, but this works fine for me.

More than expected

Although I am generally not a selfie kind of person, I finally had to break down and get one so that I could document a class trip. I’ve seen others that are cheap and flimsy, this one is not like that. I never understood people who would attach their pride and joy, their $800+ smartphone to a selfie stick that looked like it could snap like a twig. If I have to use a selfie stick, I at least want it to be a sturdy one that won't destroy my phone. This model is a good choice.The handle has a nice, cushioned grip, which lets me grasp this securely. A wrist strap is also attached to the handle. A metal rod telescopes out, and can be adjusted to whatever length you need. The stick can be locked in place, and this feature worked nicely. The rod stayed extended to the length I chose, no sliding. The holder adjusts and tilts, so it can move around. This makes it easy to adjust the angle of the phone to best suit the picture you are trying to take. I was able to use this to take individual, close up selfies, further back selfies with another person, and I could even extend it far out enough to accommodate a large group photo. The holder is also adjustable, and it easily accommodated both my iPhone 6+ and my coworker’s significantly smaller Galaxy 6. The holder held the phone tight, and at no point did I feel that my phone was in any danger of falling out. It was very steady, and there was no shaking or blurry pictures.I liked that this model does not need a Bluetooth button to take the picture, as well as not needing to install any apps to make it work. You simply plug the selfie stick into your smart phone’s headphone jack. There is a button on the handle which functions as the shutter. At first I was skeptical about a wired model, but after trying this one as well as a coworker’s which had the Bluetooth button, I found that the wired version functioned in a superior manner. It worked reliably 100% of the time, and I didn’t have to worry about misplacing a remote. In sum, this is a sturdy, reliable selfie stick that functions perfectly.I have received is item for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
