This BBQ light is awesomeEasy to useBright and makes everything so much easier when you cook in the BBQ at night

So yes, the light switch is very sensitive but the way i had to mount mine was rotate it to where the switch is facing the grill. Mine uses 3AAA batteries. The rubber bushings it came with to hold it against the surface is fairly stiff with no traction so after tightening it carefully (the bracket is aluminum) the whole unit will still rotate easily so to fix that, I dabbed some silicon RTV onto the rubber and let it sit for about 30 min then tightened it on the handle, problem solved. I have a grill cover so as for waterproof unit, i cant really say but i did put RTV on all areas that had gaps and pivots in the event i cant put my cover back on and it rains hopefully water wont get inside. Over all i'm satisfied with it it does what its suppose to do. I have a dual fuel grill i got from WM (pretty good actually), so I have a decent size cooking surface for either propane (wife uses) or charcoal (I use). I will probably buy another one to put on the propane side one day just not today.

This must be the fifth or sixth of this type of light I've bought. They seem like such a good idea. And they are, sort of. Each had a different brand name, but whatever the name, they all appear to come from the same source.As many have written, they are susceptible to water but this can be addressed, at least partially, by putting electrical tape over the seams of the battery compartment. What cannot be addressed is the extreme sensitivity of the flat touch switch. You turn the light off, place the grill cover on, and as often as not, the next time, there's no light. The batteries have run down because of, well, who knows? The flutter of a nearby butterfly's wing? A 2 mph breeze? A fly landing on the grill cover? An errant glance?In all, if you really want one of these, at least buy rechargeable batteries. Or, better still, learn from my experience and don't.

Thanks Amazon and Culinary King.Grill light was packed in brown cardboard box and manual included in side.My first impression was great with this grill light as its looks sturdy and made with black hard plastic.Good thing was it full adjustable and you can set it with any angle as needed. I was always looking for small portable grill light.and finally I found this.Before i was using that big dual 5 feet light with big holder so I don't have to deal with it anymore.One thing I would like to say that its not comes with battery. You will have to take care yourself :).Power button is really flat like a touch screen. Operation wide its pretty easy . 1st click its dim light , 2 click its get brighter and last 3rd click its really bright. Your steak will looks great in night time with this Grill light.Overall great quality light and gets job done. Like some other reviewers here, I failed to heed the "keep away from moisture" instructions. About a week after I put this on my grill, we had some rain and my light was ruined. So this is definitely NOT an all weather light - or even a light suitable for use in an outdoor environment. I suppose that you could simply keep the light inside and attach it to the grill every time you need to use it, but the clamping mechanism is quite stiff and takes a few painful minutes (the points of the plastic mechanism are quite sharp) to attach and adjust it.I also noticed (the couple of times I was actually able to use it) that the power switch is VERY sensitive. The slightest touch will turn on the light so it is easy to accidentally turn it on. This is especially aggravating when you are attempting to attach it to the grill as it is impossible to hold the unit while tightening the difficult clamping system without touching the on/off switch.Final gripe: the battery compartment cover is held in place by a very tiny phillips head screw. The manufacturer thoughtfully provides a tiny screwdriver with the light, but don't lose it or you may never get the cover off again.So 2 starts for the 2 times I was actually able to use this before it was ruined by a little rain.

It’s this giant light with a mount sized for like 2” pipe but made of plastic slightly thicker than a trash bag. Nice light, terrible mount so… might as well hold the flashlight in your mouth.

I wish this was waterproof, works ok otherwise

On and off switch super sensitive. Other than that great product definitely recommend it.
