This fast growing ivy is a close relative to our popular swedish ivy with the only difference being the darker foliage and deep red stem. Great for accents or a hanging basket. Shipped as rooted plant in 3 1/2" starter pot

Slow to start growing, but very pleased with my purchase!
I ordered this in the fall, which is a bad time to order plants and have them shipped. When I received the package, there were two plants in it. The lady sent along a note, saying that the plants were small, so she sent two. They didn't look very healthy when they arrived. And, the one plant did die. The other was fast following its lead. I looked at the second plant, and it seemed to be dying from the ground up. So, I pinched off the dead part and pushed the tip of the plant firmly into the ground. I also moved it so it could get more sunlight. This was at the beginning of this year. Now, I have a healthy vibrant plant! (Growing like a weed!) It seems to be happy in among the other variety houseplants that are around it.I must add, that the lady from The Garden Path, in her own kindness & respect for me as a customer, went out of her way to try to make sure that I got a plant that would survive! This is part of the love of gardening, whether it be fruits and vegetables or houseplants! This is one plant that is rare to find in any store. And when I seen it online, I had to have it!I hope that The Garden Path will continue to market their plants on Amazon.

It’s here!
After searching for years for this”retro” plant I was so excited to find it. It never came in the first time I ordered it but the company gave me a full refund. I tried it again and it came this time. A day late but better late than never. Packaged very carefully. It seems fairly healthy. I will happily carry on my Mothers tradition of raising one on the patio every year. Thank you!

Sweet plant, growing well!
This cute little plant has really grown in the time I've had it. I found the perfect spot for it--under the leaves of a passiflora so that it gets dappled sun only in the late afternoon. I live in the desert, and these plants don't like direct, scorching desert sun. I keep it indoors in a west window. I've had on and off success with these plants over the years, but you really just have to find the right place for them and they are delightful pleasers! I water it about twice a week and mist it daily. In winter I will only water it about once a week, but you can tell when they need water, as the leaves start to soften. I love the way these plants smell--it's so unique that I'd know it anywhere! The green leaves with the purple stems are so attractive. We call them Creeping Charlies here, although I know other plants sometimes go by that name. It was one of my very first plants when I started getting houseplants many years ago, so they bring back pleasant memories. Especially the smell!

... about a month and my creeping charlie is growing like a weed
It's been about a month and my creeping charlie is growing like a weed! I live in a basement apartment, so I was worried about how it would fare getting sunlight only at sunrise and sunset, but it's doing really well. And when I went to repot, I realized that even though I got one planter, there were 3 different plants, and each is flourishing. I would definitely buy again (especially because of the beautiful deep green leaves and red underside, I can't stop looking at it).**edit**2nd time ordering from them, and this time I was not as lucky as the first. A couple of the main stems had been snapped by the time they arrived, and a couple weeks later, half of my plants have dropped their leaves and the stems are starting to go. Last time I left the plants in their original containers since they like being root bound, but that didn't seem to work for me this time. I guess I'll try to find a store near me with swedish ivy for my ext purchase.

Arrived in good shape
The package was delayed. It took a whole week longer than it was expected. I just knew with the heat it would be dead. I was pleasantly surprised to find it alive and well. It is growing and doing beautifully. Great seller for packing it so well!

Plant was puny.
Plant looks small, underdeveloped and is barely surviving. Arrived in a 2 inch pot.

Disappointed
The plant I received is not at all the plant pictured. It was delivered crumbled in newspaper with bent stems. I bent the stems back in place...maybe it will live. It does not have the shiny leafs and is not the read stem variety.
