## Description

‣POUR LIKE A PRO: Trusted by professinoal baristas and enthusiasts the world over, the Melodrip delivers pour over coffee with enhanced flavor clarity and less bitterness, so only the best flavors are expressed to their fullest potential. ‣UPGRADES YOUR GRIND: The Melodrip eliminates kettle agitation to prevent fine particles from flowing through your filter paper and clogging your brew, similar to brewing with a high quality grind from a professional grinder. This produces brews that are exceptional in flavor with a consistent extraction every time. ‣STEADY FLOW TECHNOLOGY: The Melodrip buffers any harsh errors in your pour, that can produce uneven or over extracted flavors. When pouring with melodrip, strong and soft pours are evened out, delivering ideal results whether your kettle flow is too fast or shaky. ‣FULL CONTROL: Handheld control allows Melodrip to fit into and maneuver across any pour over dripper on the market. Position Melodrip close to the brewbed for gentle agitation to remove gasses after blooming, then position melodrip high for minimized agitation to maintain the perfect percolation. ‣COMPATIBLE WITH ALL: COLUM Mini Dripper, Cafec Flower Dripper, Hario V60 01 / 02, Kalita Wave 155 / 185, Chemex, Aeropress, and most conical and flat bottom pour over coffee drippers. ‣PROFESSIONAL GRADE MATERIALS: The Melodrip is elegantly crafted out of Stainless Steel and Tritan and engineered to withstand high temperatures and impact, tested through rigorous professional and competitive use.

Review: Definitely takes the bite out of difficult beans. - If you are a pour-over coffee person and sometimes have difficulty getting good beans, this does help take the bite out of the coffee. It lends itself to experimentation. I've not found the glass stirring rod to be necessary unless you really are observing coffee that's clumping together in your bloom phase. You may be accustomed to getting foam in your coffee during pour over which makes some of the manucturers suggestions about what height to hold this a bit difficult. I found hovering about 1/4" above the wet grounds to be adequate. Experimenting with holding the MeloDrip a bit higher while pouring slowly also worked well. I tend to use this with most of my pours now and I have a really accurate gooseneck kettle. I tend to pour my kettle into the melodrip in a spiral swirl and then as I'm doing that move the Melodrip over the bed of coffee. Fun gadget.
