This is an excellent small charger. I bought it because I sometimes need to recharge 3.7V 18650 lithiums but am delighted to see it can also hold and charge 1.5V AA and AAA-sized cells. The spring-loaded charger holds the various sizes of cell firmly. I love the bright green illuminated display which makes the charge status very clear, and the two charge bays are fully independent, i.e. you can use one alone or both simultaneously, and you can have different battery types in the two bays. Charging is rapid and cuts off automatically to prevent overcharging. Be aware that this charger does not come with its own USB power supply, which isn't a problem as most of us are awash with USB psu's anyway, and it does include a suitable short USB power cable. In my tests, when charging two cells, it is drawing around 2.5W of power, with an output current from the USB of 400 to 500mA, so I would suggest using a psu rated at 1A or higher to ensure you do not overload it.

Early days but looks like a decent product. I bought it to replace an original manufacturer’s charger that packed up. I’ve used it, it charged the batteries - good job.It lost 1x star because, as you can see from the attached images, it is one of only a handful of man-made items that can clearly be seen from space. Why does it have to be so bright (even when not charging)?If the LEDs were green where they should be black and black where they should be green, that would be one way to reduce the radiation levels to sub-hiroshima. Just an idea.

Does the job it needs to and charges the batteries. Have had it where a few times it claims the batteries were fully charged when they were almost dead, but no very often. Worth buying for the unique battery sized charging.

This works well for me with the range of rechargeables I have tried. Others have complained that the light is too bright. Yes, it's bright. But that's not a problem. Better that than something too dim!
