Despite this power, there remains a delicate femininity and lightness of songwriting on Alive demonstrative of a breadth of creative talent and an instinctive mastery of light and shade which brings to mind musical influences from Patti Smith and Jeff Buckley to Martha Wainwright. Recorded at Hookend Studios, formerly owned by David Gilmour and the erstwhile home of Radiohead, Morrissey and the Manic Street Preachers, Alive retains that vital, magical 'live' feel whilst affording every individual intricacy of Tallulah's songwriting the glorious clarity which it richly deserves. Tallulah Rendall - unbedingt merken!
Book Package bedeutet auch Buch (26,5cm x 19,5cm)! Wunderschön gestaltet bzw. Aufmachung, mit CD (37:30 Min.) und zusätzlich einer DVD mit allen Videos zu der traumhaften, tollen Musik. Reinhören lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Punkteabzug gibt es leider dafür, dass dieses Teil halt in kein CD Regal passt und die Gummi-Halterungen für die CDs im Buchdeckel sich gleich beim ersten Mal verabschieden bzw. ablösen. Trotzdem; wer das Besondere liebt, greift hier zu.
