Time Lapse Camera Mount - Panning Rotating 360 for GoPro DSLR iPhone. Motorised Pan Head for Panoramic Photos

The TurnsPro is fantastic. I've been using it for a few weeks, and already taken nice time-lapse videos with the camera panning for 2 to 8 hours.Very good product, easy to operate, and very intuitive.There are two small drawbacks. First, the clip for the battery compartment is hard to open with the fingernails, you need to use a coin or screwdriver. Second, when you make a mistake while programming the only way to fix it is to turn it off and start all over again. Any way, none of those are keeping me away from using the device when needed.I wish in the future there will be TurnsPro with increased capacity for larger DSLR's.

Excellent device. Works perfect. Way more options than most. Only minor complaint is that if you need to reset it you have to turn it off and start over, but after first few times of use programing gets much faster. Plenty of power to turn my 80D and 11-16mm Tokina on a small ball head, which is pretty heavy. I also use it on a dolly slider for 2 axis time lapse. Since my Revolve dolly motor and controller can be glitchy I'll be getting another one of these to pull the dolly too as it can be programed to turn back and forth continuously for hours. Top notch product for amateurs and pros!

Great concept. Housing is extremely cheap! Wouldn't trust it with any moisture.

I bought this for my RX10, a smaller DSLR sized camera like shown in the pictures. This can kind've handle it when rotating perfectly level, though the batteries wear out very quickly. At any angle though it completely fails. A gopro is about all this can handle on its side. Even then the batteries wear out in just a couple of hours. How is this supposed to do a 10 hour turn if the batteries only last 4?Pros:- Awesome ajustibility, Fine tune it to turn almost any speed, however long you want. (Plus 1 star)- Display is easy to understand.- My gopro timelapses look great so far.Cons:- Does not handle any amount of weight well at all. (Minus 1 star)- Battery life is poor. Even with duracell reds. (Minus 1 star)- no level- Connecting a larger camera, when this is mounted to a tripod, is awkward.I give it 3 stars because of the cons, but posted 4 stars because the display and adjustability really is nice (compared to other similar priced devices).I would rather have a larger, less compact, turner with a much stronger motor and longer battery life than something that fits in my pocket (thats what my camera bag is for). If it could handle a DSLR vertical it would be way more useful. I would include a bracket to help ballance the COG of the camera on the post, and to make attaching a camera easier.

This Turns-Pro has worked ok for me with my Gopro as far as doing what it should when one gets through the settings. Biggest beef: is it quite noisy and my Gopro picks up all the noise when it is rotating. However, I do edit out the noise when editing videos. Medium beef: programming can be a bit of a pain and you half to start all over again if you make a mistake in settings. Small beef: battery life not to good.

TurnsPro is used for an independent study of solar flux radiation. A small cellular antenna (2800 MHz) was mounted to the TurnsPro. Setting unit clockwise at 150 degrees and 10 hours allows compensation for earth's rotation (15 degrees per hour).I can setup the unit indoors - hit pause button - and then take outside to mount - hit pause button to sweep.LCD readout and backlite are high quality. Great product and value.

The media could not be loaded. My main complaint is that it doesn't fit on a tripod thread as stated in the description. The nut to accept the tripod screw is recessed, so I couldn't screw my tripod onto it. The unit itself was plastic, did not seem sturdy, and flexed when I inserted the batteries. The menu system was just OK once I used it several times. I did not like that there was no way to repeat a time lapse with the previous used settings. I had to enter the same settings over and over. There was no way to go back and correct a setting if I made a mistake. I had to turn the unit off and on again and start over completely. The video with my iPhone was very shaky. See the video I posted. I tried using the included phone mount and a different one that I owned, but it didn't help. I did much better with a small DSLR (Canon SL1/100D with Canon 24mm stm lens), there was only a small amount of camera shake. I wanted to use this with my iPhone to take short landscape videos/time lapses, but the videos were too shaky to use. I could probably have made it work with a small DSLR if it would fit on a tripod, but it doesn't, so I had to return it.

Works great. It gives you that professional touch to your videos. I am glad I bought this product. I researched many types and found that this one offered the best quality for the price.I love the options. Be warned, many of the cheaper products only turn at one speed. This product gives more variations!!!
