Perfect for a horse crazy little girl!
I have a horse crazy daughter who just adores this series of books. She just turned 6 and is in Kindergarten. I am a middle school teacher turned stay at home mom, and I bought these books to read with her. While these are a bit difficult for her reading level just yet, she is trying to read them on her own and I suspect by the end of Kindergarten, she'll be reading them with guidance. In regards to reading level, I personally would recommend these books for an advanced reading Kindergartener- 2nd grade. However, children 3 1/2 and older would enjoy listening to them. The illustrations are adorable and remind me of the vintage Golden Books and the story lines are heartwarming but easy for young students to follow. Overall, the Pony Scouts books are great for a horse crazy little girl (or boy)! I bought all of them!

Nice books
Nice story for my 5 year old who's horse mad. She can read it with a bit help but has currently lost confidence & refusing to read. Nice for kids just getting confidence. All pictures are in black & white. Daughter enjoyed them & I'm hoping she will attempt to read on her own soon.

In diesem Band zum Beispiel "a green Pony" also ein junges, unerfahrenes Pferd. (aus dem Buch: "Green? she said. "He looks yellowish gold to me!" Mein Ziel ist also erreicht.
