Walker Ultra EPA 50497 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter 3.625" Inlet (ID) 3" Outlet (OD) for Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Had the P0430 on a 2016 Tahoe. Changed spark plugs and 02 sensors and cleared for a while but came back. Replaced the cat and so far so good! Code cleared on its own and seems to idle better.

Short warranty length says it all junk

This shipping issue could be solved with a wood cover plate and a little extra shipping tape.Other than the packaging from the sender, the product worked well.

The Y pipe fit exactly as described. I put it on my 2015 Chevy Tahoe LT. The welds were nice and clean. Quality craftsmanship. I purchased this from Amazon because it was much cheaper than the prices I was quoted from the shops in town. I recommend this product.

I needed one of the catalytic converters replaced and this was recommended to me from mechanic. Installed this part and my check engine light was cleared and now I can use my remote start again! I had emissions codes through my check engine light. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra.

Bought to use on my 2018 Silverado as some criminal decided he needed my factory one he cut off. I thought I'd save a couple bucks from buying a genuine GM part. MY mistake. No matter what we did we could not get past the check engine light throwing an O2 code. Tried extending the O2's out with a spacer. Sometimes that will work as it changes the readings from sensor one to two . Still no go. ( I worked for a GM dealer ) . So I ended up buying the GM Y pipe. and basically threw this one in the trash. Sometimes these Walkers work though. My STRONG suggestion is buy it locally so you can return it if it does not work. I got stuck with mine. BIG waste of money.

It was easy to install. The only issue I ran into is the OEM connector clamp was to large. I audit to order a clamp from Walker to make the exhaust leak seal up. That clamp should be included with the converter’s.
