Ocean Wonders (Sparkling Slide Nature Books)

My 2 year old loves this book so much. We read it daily and she has even memorized it. The sparkling details and slide out pages make the books exceptionally fun. I would not recommend letting your child read this book unattended though as our daughter did tear apart the first one we purchased. Because of the slide out nature of the pages she was able to separate them and rip the slide out portion out.

This book is really beautiful. Vibrant colors. Nice large images. The peek-a-boo cards are very easy to slide out and back in. We do supervise 10mo. old to ensure she is not too rough on this, but she definitely can pull out the cards, loves the colors and drawings. This is a quick read, just long enough to hold her attention.

This a beautiful children's book that includes lots of sea creatures for children to enjoy. The two sided slide out panels are a favorite for my 1-1/2 year old. She isnt able to easily push them back in on her own, but she will learn it with more practice. We had one panel get stuck... but with gentle pushing/pulling I was able to correct the issue with minimal effort. The pages have a good-quality feel to them.

This is by far the best book in the sparkle slide nature books due to is superb illustrations! My one-year old granddaughter loves sliding out the inserts on each page and loves saying good-bye to them when we turn the page. She gets engaged with this book.

Reading this book to our three-year-old granddaughter brings joy to both of us. The beautiful illustrations and slide-out illustrations keep her engaged through repeated readings of this story while I point out the many creatures of the ocean blue. Great fun!

My 20 month old Daughter loves this book. It has short sentences for her short attention span and it’s interactive. I paired this book with Collect A matching sea animals to enhance her learning experience

I like the sensory slide outside that mimic peek-a-boo. My 2 yr old absolutely delights at reading this book. He brings it to me to read it to him over most of his other books he has.Thank you for the simple but delightful book.

I have 3 kids, and this is one of the only books that is loved by each of them. It is also a testament to the durability of this product that it is still intact and functioning after the abuse of 3 toddlers!Here is why this book is brilliant:1. It encourages reading left to right - each slide out panel has a picture on the front and back. You read one side, flip the page to look at the back, then you’re on the left side of the book, and flow to the next panel on the right. This action also helps develop fine motor skills.2. It uses simple, structured rhyming couplets. The inherent structure reinforce language acquisition as young minds are hardwired to seek meaning and recognize patterns.3. There are shiny “sparkle” features on each page that create an engaging contrast for young readers. These features also provide a different texture for tactile learning.4. The pull out panels are durable - my copy has survived 3 toddlers!5. It’s a fun read that has generated countless giggles and belly laughs

しっかりとした作りの絵本で、スライドして出てくる海の生き物もかわいくて、キラキラしていてとってもいい。日本語バージョンも出てるので、プレゼントにもおすすめです。

本自体は思っていた通り素敵な絵本でした♪ただ、海外からのお届けにありがちですが、破け、へこみがあり残念でしたので星は3つとさせていただきます。
