Crown of My Heart is an original piece I created from an 8x8 canvas with 1/2 inch deep sides. My inspiration came from the beautiful shimmery, blue crown at the top of the piece. I spread crackle paste over the canvas and allowed it 24hrs to dry. Once dry,these beautiful cracks are evident over the entire canvas. From that point on, I built up the rest. The final product became a heart that was cut and covered with metal findings, spray, and brightly colored paper flowers. It became a wonderful piece to work with. I hope you enjoy it as well.
