Beautiful Design
We replaced a 1983 JennAir Range with this new True Induction....NO COMPLAINTS. However, there is a slight learning curve with Induction that needs to be considered. Food cooks differently with Induction and requires different cookware to operate properly...So do your homework on Induction Cooking. We love it and find it to make a considerable difference in the cooking time and food taste results.Highly Recommend!

Terrible Customer Service.
I bought and installed this 3 burner unit on our boat. Worked great for a year then the big burner shorted out. Got a hold of customer service after several attempts and they did send a replacement burner to me. We installed it ourselves and it worked for about 8 months and now broke again. This time I can't get customer service to return calls or email. Everything breaks. What counts is if you can get customer service to supply parts. I'm even willing to pay for it but there's no one to talk to. For now I give this company 2 stars. If they communicate it will go back to 3 or 4.

Technicians are awful
Spoke with a technician and I was trying to get some answers regarding the seemingly excessive noise that the cooktop makes and why it was different than what I had experienced in the past with other induction cookware. The technician was defensive, combative, yelling, and refused to calm down. He claimed it was only the fault of my cookware despite me not having this problem with other cooktops. If you want to get yelled at, blamed, and hung up on when something goes wrong with your cooktop, go ahead and purchase this product. Hopefully you have better luck than me.

Disappointed
The two smaller burners have stopped working. Good news, I contacted the company and was told to unplug the unit for ten minutes to reset it. And, it worked. So, happy that it was such a simple fix!

this is an AMAZING cooktop! I was a science major in college
Okay, this is an AMAZING cooktop! I was a science major in college, so I totally geek out on the efficiency and on the principles behind the technology. You can boil a substantial amount of water very quickly since there is 90-something % transfer of energy to your pot/pan. Be sure that each plug has a dedicated breaker for optimal cooking conditions (see the website and read through the fine print as that is added haphazardly rather than being in plain sight as it should be since it's an important detail). I love the fact you can either set your pan to an exact temp or choose on a scale of 1-10 (FYI: 2 is perfect for cooking eggs just to give you an idea).Installation is a breeze... I literally just had to cut an opening, drop it in and run an extension cord to the proper outlets. Since there is no heat generated in the actual cooktop (you're using magnetic fields to move electrons in the pan to create heat IN the actual cookware) clean up is such a breeze since nothing gets burned onto the glass surface also making it super safe with kids around.Just do yourself a favor nan switch to inductive cooking.

Warranty not honored! Do not buy!
This stovetop worked just fine until it broke after about eight months of use. We contacted the manufacturer before the warranty ended, but could not get them to replace or repair the product after months of back-and-forth. They tried to pin in on Amazon, but in the end, we could not get them to honor their own warranty. I would not buy this product again. You shouldn't waste your money, either

It is a much better cooktop than I expected
I live on a small island where electric power is scarce and expensive and use this for my everyday cooking replacing a gas stove. It is a much better cooktop than I expected. I can boil water faster on it than I could on the gas stove, and I have much better control of heat and temperature. It is also easier to clean. My cookware is mostly All-Clad and worked without problems except for one tea kettle that was not flat on the bottom. It took me a few days to learn that pans heat really quickly, and high power settings are only needed for initial heating. Also, it works better for me to bring a pan up to cooking temperature in "heat" mode before switching to "temperature" mode to avoid temperature overshoot.

Will never cook with gas (or electic) again!
Bought this almost two years ago for a vacation home I am building. Still have not finished my cabin but use this at home on top of my existing stovetop (as it works as a counter top or built in unit). Much faster than gas or electric burning and can control the temp instantly. My only complaint (a minor one) is that I wish there was a control lock setting so that when you are cleaning you don't activate the touch controls. Not a huge issue as it will turn itself off if nothing is on the burner. I cook a lot nothing else give you the temp control of induction. If you do boil over a pot there is no mess because unlike electric glass tops the surface does not heat up and burn on food to the top. I used to hate cleaning electric glass tops and had to use a special cleaner with a lot of elbow grease. This unit only requires some Windex or other glass cleaner and it looks like new again.
