The Chia Company Seed, Ground, 12.3 Ounce

This is one of the best tasting Chia out there. The price is great. It has a nice nutty cinnamon taste too it. I made a loaf of bread and added this chia to it. I am going to order more in a larger size. My children love it. I made a protein milkshake for them and added this chia to it. Yummy!

I like this product VERY MUCH - it was fresh and meets my needs. I ordered it on 2/16 from Amazon, started using it 2/18 and today, 2/20, it has gone up in price $10.64 per bag. Buyer beware .... which is why I am providing a rating of 2 stars. The product itself is 5/5 stars but seriously, a $10+ increase in a matter of 4 days?!!! You might be better off purchasing directly from the manufacturer, like I just did.

I ordered the chia seeds because I saw that they were advertised as being very healthy. However, when the package arrived, and I read the 'small print', I saw that they could interfere with high blood pressure and that I should check with my doctor before taking them. My doctor told me absolutely not to take them because of my hypertension.I called Amazon about returning them, but was told that since they are a 'food item' they could not be returned.I was transferred to one of y our managers who was extremely helpful and confirmed that the product could not be returned, but he said he would credit my Amazon account with the price I paid,and that I should not return the product.I was very happy with the outcome of that transaction and have spoken to friends about the co-operation of Amazon.I love Amazon and will continue to order regularly from your website. In fact I am presently waiting for the arrival of my next order (blood pressure monitor). Thank you Amazon..

Great to put in smoothies, or even on salad.

I use this to add extra nutritional value to my breakfast smoothies. I can't taste it but I know it's helping me start the day off well. I have to take care not to add too much (more than 1 tablespoon) or else it makes my smoothies too slimy. I will continue to use this product.

I recommend the ground seeds over the regular seeds. The regular seeds are more like caraway seeds, kind of thick and tough. The ground seeds are soft and fluffy and mix in well with smoothies.

I love these chia seeds. They are so much easier to use and clean out of my blender when I make my daily smoothie. This pack lasted me a very long time (I use about a tablespoon a day). The package sealed very nicely, and they stayed fresh the entire time that i had the package. I will definitely be purchasing these again soon.

I am very happy to have found these Chia Seeds on Amazon. After reading the Aztec Diet Book, It was amazing that the Aztec Indians of Mexico lived their lives eating Chia Seeds which gave them the energy to run great miles (such as 200 miles in a day) with hardly any effort.
