A: The current version of the bench has a sticker on the bottom claiming a 600lb weight limit.  We had a couple of guys sitting on it that don't weight near 600 lbs and it buckled and broke in the middle.  YMMV

A: yes. don't forget to lock it when you unfold it. there should be a red lock switch.

**Q: weight capacity?**
A: This bench has a uniform distributed load capacity of 1,000 pounds and a center load capacity of 250 pounds.

**Q: Looking for bench cushions for this item.**
A: We do not make cushions for our benches.  The bench top measures 72" x 11.5" and is 1.69" thick.  I hope that helps you find or make something that will work for you.

I also have Lifetime 80191 Light Commercial Folding Chair, White Granite with Gray Frame, 4 Pack , but these benches are much more useful and convenient. Folded, the length is exactly the same as Lifetime 25011 Fold In Half Commercial Table, 6 Feet, White Granite and 1/3 the width. At our last kids' backyard birthday party, we had 2 tables each with 2 benches and 2 chairs at the ends, easily fitting 10 people each. Third table was used for buffet-style food and drinks. We feel like suckers for having before rented tables & chairs, especially since the party renter was late dropping them off! Pros: + Each comfortably fits 4 adults or 5 kids. Even for wide guests, they may find the bench roomier than folding chairs. + 2 folded benches only take up the space of 2 folded chairs for easy cleanup, storage, and transportation (even compact car trunk will easily fit multiple benches). Perfect for cheering at school games. + Convenient carry handle and lightweight.
