Dream Oracle Cards: A 53-Card Deck and Guidebook Cards – May 27, 2013

I'm returning these. I thought I may be able to use these, as suggested, for therapeutic work as I'm a therapist. Primarily these cards and the text are amateurish and even ridiculously immature at times. The card Airplane says "spread your wings and fly," not terribly original. There is a card called "Alien" which in the book among other ridiculous advice under MESSAGE reads "...learn to wave your 'freak flag' with pride." Even teens I know and work with would find this deck too young and silly.The concept of these cards is ill-conceived. The idea that anyone would need to pull a card and then meditate on it to elicit a dream on that subject (this is what the book advises) is senseless. Dream work should come from symbols already in one's life or subconscious, not from an oracle card. If the book and cards were significantly better written, I could see a deck like this potentially making sense if it were titled "symbolic oracle" but even then the book would need to be completely revamped.If one wants to do dream-work you are far off better buying any of the wonderful books on dreams or a dream-dictionary.The artwork however is quite beautiful and has a sort of retro-60's feel to it. I was expecting something far more elevated and intellectual. However if you want to toss the book and use these differently for symbolic work you won't be disappointed with the lovely images.

The guide book that comes with the cards give three aspects, "Message", "Meaning" and "Mantra". Kelly Sullivan Walden's message for each card give suggestions and honors the individual to explore further as they become more attuned to their own inner guidance. The meaning portion of the guide allows for different shades of how an image might fit into one's dreaming symbols and possibly get a better grasp on their own subconscious lexicon of imagery. The mantra's are short, uplifting and easy to remember, or put on a post-it. Then there is the artwork by Rassouli. Beautiful images that shift one's perception from the waking world back to the realm of dream time. I feel the images are meant to be experienced more than simply observed. With half an effort, one is easily transported to a 'bigger' realm of reality than normally experienced during waking hours. Bravo!

Interesting concept on interpreting dream symbolism. I tend to interpret dreams in a broader way than focusing on a particular component but this deck is very insightful and makes me think of interpretations that would not readily come to mind. I especially love the art work.

I purchased this deck pre-owned. It's in excellent condition as described and before delivery date.

Wonderful cards, beautifully done. The artist, Rassouli is my favorite mystical artist . Kelly Sullivan has done a wonderful job translating these by her subject titles and the meanings of the cards. You will not be disappointed in this deck.I also need to thank and give a 5 start rating to Amazon Prime . They delivered this almost overnight from there Amazon facility . Thank you Prime.

The book is to small for me. I need larger print. I am anxious to become more aware of my dreeam life and it's meanings. The careds are very nice, graphics are beautiful, and the multiple use of the deck of cards are cool.

Gorgeous oracle deck with beautifully written, powerful messages. If you like paying attention to and listening to your dreams, this tool will deepen your practice. Kelly Sullivan Walden's voice is inspiring and infused with loving messages. I have worked with dreams for over 25 years and this is my favorite new addition.

Got the deck for the artist. Got his works in Alana's rumi and jounry of love oracle. Card stock is nice.

Cards are thick & glossy with beautiful artwork. The messages are self-explanatory & accompanying book gives more detailed information. They are easy to work with & offer useful guidance.

The product arrived promptly but was not suitable.

Son muy bonitas e intuitivas, los dibujos a veces son algo abstractos, pero la baraja da para mucho.Las recomiendo.

great deck of cards. The booklet is a great help also. I believe this is my first deck by Kelly.... and it won't be my last. Very good.
