Good Information!
The information in this guide is great. For us it could have been catorgized differently for easier use. What would have been nice is if they had used a slightly heavier weight of paper instead of using something in weight just above cheap toilet paper. By using a heavier weight notes could have been added better in this book. Any notation made would bleed into the other pages :O( Other than that the information like I said is great and helpful information!

sort of like gift wrap tissue
The pages are very thin, sort of like gift wrap tissue. There are a lot of important places that I would like to find but always seem to be in the fold of the page. For example Chino California isn't even on the map because it's in the fold of the pages and doesn't even recognize Highway 71. It seems like every time we wanted to go somewhere it was always in the fold of the pages and we couldn't locate that particular area.

Needs to be expanded
It’s strange how many nice RV camping sites are missing from this guide. In planning a trip from California to Oregon we ended up relying more on Internet searches.

Outdated and Incomplete
I was surprised to find my favorite RV campground, the very popular Ventura Beach RV Resort, in Ventura, CA is not mentioned in Tom Sienstra's West Coast RV Camping. Makes me wonder what else is omitted. Also, the book appears to have been published in July of 2018, so some of the prices listed for the RV parks are not accurate. For example, it says RV sites at the Fernwood Resort in Big Sur are $75 a night, but the sites are actually $85-105/night. For a $30 book, I expected better.

Fantastic Planning Tool
I plan a lot of trips. This book is useful in all the right ways. The maps are exactly what you need to find what you are looking for. The descriptions are helpful in planning a trip that will suit your specific needs. The information that I found most useful was the "best of" guide in the front of the book, rates, allowable RV length, and the general description of the campground. That was particularly helpful in finding a place that would suit the age range of people that I was planning for.

Comprehensive RV Camping Directory: Pretty Accurate!
We love this book and have used previous editions. Directions to campsites seem to be very accurate. We found ourselves lost on some Forest Service roads and this book helped us get to the campground, better than old-fashioned road maps or GPS directions. I wish they would include more information about handicap facilities. The scenic rating scale is subjective. Overall, I recommend it highly.

Great Resource!
This was a gift for a new camper trailer traveler. It was very helpful when he stayed in parks that had no internet. When he had internet he would find more options. It was helpful to have on his travels!

Complete might be a bit of an exageration
Great book! I highly recommend it, however it is not complete. The first day I received it I found two RV parks I have reservations for, this year, that weren't in the book. The book did have countless RV parks I didn't know about, with great descriptions.

Nicht das, was ich erwartet hatte.
Ziemlich unübersichtlich und in der Ausführung pro Campingplatz nicht ausführlich genug.
