Delivery was a little hectic, but LOVE the fireplace! We are thinking it will be out primary heat source for this upcoming winter since we ordered it late spring. We did have a cold snap and was able to try it out, we were IMPRESSED! Very comparable to a wood burning stove, without all the mess.Came in different colors, but this one was $300 cheaper then the off white one I would have rather had, so will paint my living room walls instead.Remote sense the room temp, once in awhile it doesn’t kick the fireplace on (or off!) but just WOW!We have our 55” tv sitting on it, and it looks great! The flames are beautiful tooIt was really easy to put together too, the mantle is solid, way better then the electric fireplace we had in the spot before this one!

The media could not be loaded.  This fireplace is gorgeous! Check out the video to see the real flames. The mantel is well made, and it was easy to assemble. We had a contractor attach the natural gas since we did not have gas running to the house until we purchased this unit. However, there is no remote control. The T-Stat control is a knob underneath the fireplace, but it is super easy to turn the knob up and down to adjust the flame. The pilot has a battery operated ignition so it will light even when the electricity is out.

Very attractive, but would not light. We had 3 professionals look at it, and they concluded (after 2 days troubleshooting to determine if there was air in the lines, a damaged orifice, excess pressure on our gas line, etc.) that it must have been shipped with a bad regulator. Gas could not make it from the supply line I provided through the unit and to the igniter (igniter works good). No customer service on weekend. 2 hr wait for customer service to take my call (second att. They offered to repair the regulator, but that would have taken 3 wks. We were using it as a replacement for our furnace that went out, so could not wait that long. No replacement available to exchange it with, so just had to get a refund and start over. Couldn't find anything quite as attractive or as inexpenive, unfortunately, but hopefully the new one will work!

This fireplace was fairly easy to assemble and produces a good amount of heat. The blower, however should be an integral part of the fireplace instead of an add on because it does distribute the heat efficiently. Without it, the fireplace would probably set off any smoke/carbon monoxide detector nearby. The quality of the woodwork is excellent and easily assembled. It is a very good product. The only negative was the delivery. Delivery promises made when the order was placed are not accurate - better to give the shipping company’s contact information initially instead of being in limbo. I placed the order October 20 and finally received. The order around the first of December. The unit does NOT have a remote control.

We used it twice last year but due to chemical odor we had to turn off. Heat went out in Zero degree weather and it will not ignite. Very unhappy with the box. Mantle is beautiful but wish I had bought one with a remote.

I have been searching for an antique white fireplace and so happy I found this! It warms the room quickly and is so beautiful! Very well made and easy to put together. No electricity required which is needed when electrical power goes out due to an ice storm!! Excited to use during the winter season.

Overall the product is great. Solid, no scratches in the wood through delivery. Packaged very well for shipping. With that said, 2 things I found disappointing. First the company stated they would notify progress and shipping through process. Although they arrived 2 weeks early and I was pleased, they never notified me and sat a very heavy skid packed item in front of my house on a public sidewalk in the rain. Never notified me through any of the process.Second. As Duluth states their liner is made in USA, the mantle and trim work isn't. It's from Vietnam. Hence the reason the liner did not slide right inside the way it should have. I had to take 1/4" off of inside wood brace to accommodate any type of fit. That part was not an entry level fix.All that said, it was very easy to put together but make sure you have your own allen wrench to put together. The Vietnam part of it, I guess, sends you the hardware but the wrench is a very soft metal and starts wearing down quickly through each turn of the bolts. I think Duluth could have done better if they were to contact out to someone other than our inexpensive neighbors.Finished product stands tall and by the looks of everything else overall I'm excited to spend many years with this product.

We have had this fireplace for a year now going into the second season of using it and I will say it is a great fireplace. This unit heats my entire house it is that effective. This unit is solid wood and I mean SOLID it is very heavy every piece of it was heavy. I would have gave it 5 stars but the remote is not very good, that is the only complaint I have with it, there is no down button for the thermostat set, there is only a up and you have to hold it down until it goes back through the the temps to get to where you want it. Also you have to change the 4 double A batteries once a month but that happened on my old fireplace also. Over all you are getting a A+ quality unit for a less expensive price. Make sure you have a vent somewhere in the room or crack a window about 5 inches. This is a Vent Free Fireplace but that just means it has no Vent you still have to have some kind of ventilation in the room just like for all Vent Free gas heaters.
