Great skirt marker
The PRODUCT THEY ARE SELLING NOW IS NOT THE PRODUCT I BOUGHT AND REVIEWED. BUYER BEWARE! The photo I posted is the one I bought and it's not being sold anywhere anymore. I don't understand why Amazon is allowing this to happen. Not even sure if it's the same people who are selling it. Heres the original copy: Sold by: Sewing Professionals$28.99Condition: New - This is a chalk type skirt marker and it has same function as Dritz Skirt Marker. It is a durable chalk type skirt marker used in professional tailor shop. This skirt marker is easy to use and will last for long time comparing with the other brand skirt marker.Received this marker before the estimated delivery date. Really like this marker and works well. I like the wide opening or the length of the straight chalk line. You have to gently squeeze the bulb for the marking otherwise it comes out too thick if you apply too much force on the bulb. I use to have the Singer marker and was good at the time but the bulb dried up and cracked. This is a soft pliable bulb and it will last a long time. The hose is shorter than the Singer but it does go around very easily in the back. I can't wait to use it and now I am a happy camper. I highly recommend this marker.

Works great!
I have had mine for 5 and a half years. The clamp finally broke, but it has done it's duty, and served me well. It has bent a little over the years, and has been used and used.My main problem with it, is that it is plastic, and I cannot find a replacement clamp/powder holder. I found a replacement hose and bulb at wawak dot com, but the part that clamps onto the rod broke just recently.I sew a lot of dresses, and I feel that for the cost, this is really useful. Especially if you are sewing for yourself. If I am working on a dress for someone else, I can do it myself, without it, but I have really loved this.I think it is really a useful tool and I highly suggest using one if you are thinking of getting one. It would make a great gift for someone who sews!

Sturdy and does the job perfectly
Works perfectly and I squirted some glue into the hole at the base for the pole before I screwed the pole down, other wise a bit wobbly. BFD if you ask me. Anyone shopping for this already knows what it does and well, that's what it does and it's not chinsy , the marks on the pole are very clear and the pinchers that hold the chalk and bulb at your mark are good and tight and a good sturdy plastic(not brittle) so it'll last.To anybody that has never used these but needs one a little tip.. The opening where the chalk comes out Looks like it's not an opening at all it's so fine but trust me, it's there so don't squeeze the bulb while looking at it unless you want a face full of blue chalk and put the marking tip (looks like a duck bill) right up against the fabric and GENTLE quick little puff with the bulb and you'll have a perfect hem line.

It shoots the chalk in clumps
I love this skirt marker because it helps be super accurate when marking a hem. I use it one at work all the time so I wanted to buy one for home.I don’t know if I put the chalk in wrong but mine shoots the chalk so aggressive and in clumps. Also the part that shoots the chalk keeps falling off and the stick is flimsy and feels weak.Still a great invention and I’m going to use it all the time
