Review: Filters fast, removes fluoride and tastes great! - I was on a budget and couldn’t afford the pricey water pitchers and researched the different brands. I was searching for an affordable water filter that removes fluoride and this one does. Other inexpensive filters do not remove fluoride. The pitcher is attractive and easy to set up with a countdown to let you know when the filter needs to be changed. Another perk is that it has an extremely fast filtration system. It has a very nice, soft flavor, I enjoy the taste. As far as the people complaining about the black stuff in their water… if you read through the instructions you’ll see that the filter has to be rinsed before inserting. If you don’t rinse the filter you will see black charcoal particles in your water, it’s not dirt it’s natural charcoal from the filter which needs to be rinsed before use. My housemate was using a Brita filter which still tasted like tap water but this company has much better flavor. Great water and value. On the one I received the cover falls off when I try to pour water into a cup.** A: my lid fits securely on ..it doesn't really snap on but mine does have a snug fit so I can pour water **Q: I bought this specifically for the alkaline increase, but when I test the water, it’s 6.5 — no increase. False claim — or does it improve over time?** A: If you used test strips, your results may not be accurate. Use a liquid test kit since they are much more accurate. **Q: What is the NSF certification on this?** A: NSF mark is your assurance that a product has been tested by a trusted independent certification organization. **Q: Can this be used to purify lake water?** A: Yes I believe so. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Filters fast, removes fluoride and tastes great! *by E***A on February 17, 2025* I was on a budget and couldn’t afford the pricey water pitchers and researched the different brands. Great water and value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy and healthy *by C***Z on March 24, 2026* I love this water filter pitcher, water look very clear, it tastes fresh and so good, I save a lot of money because it comes with two water filters that that each last 60 days. Now I enjoy drinking more water that before and it makes my body so happy, hydrated and healthy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a winner! Buy it. *by M***B on July 6, 2023* I've often thought I'd like to have a water filter for drinking water; but didn't have a clue which one to purchase, until I watched convincing online reviews of several filters by someone I trusted. The Hskyhan water filter won this reviewer's commendation as the unqualified best personal sized water filter. So, I didn't hesitate to order one. Now I'm enjoying fresh tasting pure water, coffee and tea daily. First advice: make sure the funnel reservoir is properly placed inside the pitcher, otherwise the lid won't fit. (If the lid doesn't fit, turn the funnel reservoir around 180 degrees). Other than that, you're pretty well good to go. You'll learn along the way how best to accommodate the product to satisfy your own personal needs. I like to fill the funnel reservoir up to only the top line of dots. This allows the water to freely drip without intruding upon the filter itself. This provides just short of four 8 oz glasses of water and takes about four minutes. That's not a lot of water, but it only takes another four minutes to filter more. Another bit of advice: when pouring don't tilt the pitcher too far forward, or the lid will loosen to the point of falling off, and the filter will bounce around inside the funnel reservoir. As a rule, I like to place my hand on the lid to keep it in place, although if you pour carefully and somewhat slowly all will be well, even without holding the lid. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hskyhan Water Filter Pitcher Alkaline - 3.5 Liters Improve PH, 2 Filters Included, BPA Free, 7 Stage Filteration System to Purifier, White - Hskyhan Alkaline Water Filter Cartridge - Replacement Pitcher Water Filters, Improve PH, 7 Stage Filteration System to Purify, 6 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/236318650-hskyhan-water-filter-pitcher-alkaline-3-5-liters-improve-ph](https://www.desertcart.be/products/236318650-hskyhan-water-filter-pitcher-alkaline-3-5-liters-improve-ph) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
