Moonshine Distiller Silicone Tri-Clover (Tri-clamp) Gasket - 2 Inch

This item does fit standard 2" tri-clamp fittings, but barely. I almost ran out of thread room to get the clamp to cover the two TCs. And once tightened by hand as far as it can go, leaves way too much clamp open. It is way too thick. The job they did trimming the gasket left way too much jagged edges and pieces of silicone hanging on. I had to spend some time I didn't think I would to clean up a product that I expected to wash off, sanitize, and put into use. The packaging was crazy. They threw in a handful of packing peanuts for some reason which did nothing but make a mess and piss me off. It's silicone, and the envelope was pretty thick plastic. The need for packing peanuts was not there.I guess the silver lining it that you will get a tight seal between the to TCs. But you will be fighting to get it clamped up to do so. And you better not be in a hurry to get your TCs together. It takes some work. I wouldn't buy thise again.

Good product. Unfortunately it is the wrong one, it has a ridge on both sides and I needed one side to be flat.

Fit perfect. I did. Have to remove the ridge on one side of it to fit snugly against the keg. Many people found this to be difficult, I would recommend using a serated knife as the ridge can hug the blade and not slip off cutting you.

Quality product, I will be buying more of these to use in the stainless steel conical fermenters I make.
