Baiston BST-01 400MHz~470MHz Mini Antenna for Two Way Radio Color Black

Better than the standard antenna that came with my transceiver radio. I'm fairly new to the transceiver scene but have started out just listening to different frequencies on a ham radio. The standard antenna that came with mine does not provide much range so listening to local repeaters was somewhat difficult. I have a couple other radio products from Baiston and their quality has been very good so I decided to give this small antenna a shot for my truck. Running it wasn't to difficult as the cable is quite thin it fit in easily in most areas to get it routed around a few spots in my truck. It really did give it more range over the stock one. I am very satisfied with this antenna for now of course this is not a top notch antenna but for the price it does work well for me. I received this item in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great antenna for a transceiver radio. My husband and son are starting to use the radio as a hobby they can share together. This antenna gives them range to listen to various repeaters. The quality is good. It is a small antenna and has a thin cable. I PURCHASED THIS Baiston BST-01 400MHz~470MHz Mini Antenna for Two Way Radio Color Black TO USE WITH MY CB RADIO IT WAS MUCH SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE,AND THE HOOKUP DIDN'T WORK FOR WHAT I NEEDED IT TO,SO I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TRY THE ANTENNA.I WILL REVIEW AGAIN WHEN I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TRY IT OUT. I RECEIVED THIS ITEM AT A DISCOUNT PRICE FOR MY REVIEW.
